As anyone ever read through the comments, because I know I do and it ****ed me off.

I just came back online last night cuz I was bored, and have posted a 4-3 record over the past 2 days.

Yesterday ~ Im Providence, he is Kansas.
I win by 10.
Comment: Has potential

Response: What a backhand slap to someone when you are in the "Top 500," get your *** handed to you and then want to tell me I have potential. ok pal.

But it gets worse:

Response: Are you kidding me you dumb ****? He got ****ed because any time I would pass to my center to post up, he'd bring down O.J. Mayo to double, and I would immediatly kick it to the open guard for 3 and he "couldnt stop it." or the fact that hed try to isolate with mayo, so id double him, no steal glitching, and hed throw a bad pass or a bad shot. Its my bad your a newbie who knows nothing about basketball, and you got smoked by me, who sucks. Go cry about it, dont give me a ridiculous comment. and I didnt even press this game, where I'll try to trap if you are gonna run up the court with your pg, which almost always leads to an errant pass if they are stupid.

Therefore, feedback is not always the best way to look about an opponent, because most of us are probably getting the shaft from this cheeseheads and the wannabes.

There was a reason I stopped playing online. Ive had one sim player in 7 games. **** the cheese, xSOGx will **** on you, so get over it you dumb ****ing cheese, but if you dont want to be considered cheese,
a) dont play like it
b) dont get people ****ed off when you try to play like it and get shut down in every aspect, and then want to ***** them out, its doesnt work that way
c) dont, what I call, run the "chicken with its head cut off offense." 1st play he passes down to Gibson, and tries to run around my center multiple times. 2nd play, he repeatedly tries to cut through my defense with mayo. try that **** and im gonna double you to prevent you from slicing me like butter, and that ****ed him off. no steal glitching though, there is no way i wish to be one of them.

O ok you st8....if you looking for sim games just check the persons VIP and look for dbl teams per minute if its over one dont play them. But there are a lot of xSOGx guys on at different times of the day so look for us and you will surely get the SIM game you want.:thumbsup:

Also you have to remember all of our members play the right way. none of us glitch and abuse the game. Skill wise, even the worst SOG is above average, but an above average player who dont abuse the game vs a average player who abuses every aspect of the game, the strait up player will lose 80% of the time.

Like me, im a 55%. I have friends that play on, my account that have got me losses, and i abuse nothing.

I garentee if i abused this game i would be above 80% win. Ne one can spin with a 7"0 ******* and score 90% of the time. Then double rip steal. But i have no reason to do that. Winning like that is like winning a real game of bball cuz you hit the man or gaurding in the nuts and he dropped the ball, its just cheap play. I can't really feel good about a win like that.

Skill does not = win%
Skill = Timing, ball movent, defensive ability court vision ect....

I havent been playing online thatm uch, but I'll send xSOGx members challenges and they will ignore it.

However I havent found the double team really used that much in the limited time Ive played recently. and I dont think its a fair assessment on any player, because when someone starts abusing a player, I start doubling that player every time he tries to make a move, whether it is Mayo or Hibbert. Therefore, I could have three double teams in a possession, no glitching though, and it makes me look like cheese.

I'm at 82% feedback, but I'm mad it doesnt reset yearly. Last year I irritated people because I would sim them at the end and run a little clock and that got them angry and they would give me poor sportsmanship. However, this year I have like 7 positive and 1 negative, but it still looks bad and its irritating. Add that with my 50% win percentage and its hard to find any good competition. lol

Feedback shouldnt be based on homecourt or any other factors. It should be based, honestly, on the criteria that 2k has layed forth.

If you cheese, its up to the player to decide whether you abuse some exploits or a lot of exploits. you are going to find a lot of biased players who will change their opinion whether they win or lose. I know there are times when I have changed my mind multiple times. If you cheese all game, you deserve abuses exploits. if you cheese just in time to win the game, you deserve abuses exploits. if you cheese but it does not affect the outcome of the game, you deserve abuses some exploits. but obviously peoples opinions differ from mine.

but more often then not, ill give you a negative for poor sportsmanship then cheesing. if you whoop my *** all game, and have a 15 point lead with 2 minutes left, if you keep throwing alley-oops up on my defense im going to give you poor sportsmanship. I havent quit, but I've lost, give it a rest. its so bad sometimes I stand out killing clock just to end the game, once again peoples opinions will change.

that is the reason of this thread, people are going to be biased on how they judged you, and thats why its wrong to judge a player based on feedback, most of the time. soem people just have such a bad reputation you are gonna get bad feedback regardless. haha

anoter problem though, is that people dont exactly know what exploits constitute?

running double teams in situations that your team would actually do, like anytime the center gets it = not cheese
running double teams frequently using the steal glitch = cheesing

i got abuses some exploits for the first one, and its ridiculous. thats unfair, and people need to understand these definitions before they go throwing them out.

Proph hits it right. Hes following the guidelines that 2k set up for us. If it wasnt the most enjoyable game because of the constant double teams then he gave it a neutral, thats fair, he could have been an *** and put abuses many exploits. Why give someone a positive when you didnt enjoy the game? Im sure without the double team glitchin it would have received a positive.

As Cap said, theres a difference between double teaming and double steal glitching.

Double Team = The act of bringing over an additional defender in an attempt to prevent the person with the ball to easily score or to try to force a bad pass or a bad shot. Like you said, that is virtually the only way to stop big men like Hibbert, or you can also use it to trap a player trying to go baseline on you. This is not a glitch, but more of a strategy, because using this at the right time can force a turnover. Using this at the wrong time can lead to an open man hitting a big 3.

Double Steal Glitch = The act of bringing over an additional defender with the goal of stealing the ball in mind, which is done by repeatedly tapping x (on xbox 360) during a double team, which if done successfully will lead to a steal almost every time. This is seen as a glitch because if someone taps x during the double team, the ball will be stolen nearly every time. This is a glitch/exploit in the game. Occasionally someone will use it near the end of the game, but can you blame them if they are down. Others use this as their most prominent form of defense, and this is seen as cheesing, most notably Ron, who although I have never played him, supposedly will trap you right off a rebound and steal the ball under the basket, leading to an easy two. On most occasions these players will use Kansas, as Chalmers and I believe Rush have very high steal ratings. Also used a lot by these glitchers is G'Town, Memphis, and on occasion UCLA or UNC.

Some players will get mad if you run a normal double team defense, but you will see some of the smaller, quicker teams, trap many times on a possession, as this is not illegal. However, some players associate this with a glitch, but it is not, and all sim gamers will agree with you. But its a lot easier to beat a normal double then a steal glitch double, at least if you have any basketball iq. Just pass it to the open man and let him drain the 3 or throw down the big dunk. Steal glitching as hurt this years addition of the game, and most players, except extreme cheesers, are awaiting a patch that will hopefully fix the problem soon and we will not have to wait for next year. Besides, most people using G'Town anyway are Hibbert abusers, using his long arms to interfere passing lanes or to block what appeared to be open looks, besides going to him on almost every offensive possession. Its funny to watch Hibbert run back and forth the court on most possessions, but most often this players will bait you into what appears open looks and when you go to shoot they get harshly rejected into the stands. Ive played against G'Town 3x and every player has done the same thing. Anyone who wouldnt double him every time he touches the ball is ridiculous.

Alright i just have a question for everyone who keeps posting about a so called "Sim Game". Now i understand that using the glitches is not a fair way to win a game and i will only stoop to using such glitches if someone will use them on me more than twice in one game. What i dont understand is people who want a "Sim Game" complain about people using one player too much in a game or consistently getting one particular player the ball or running your offense through one guy. If you are not using exploits how can a so-called sim player be upset about their opponent going to one guy too much. Now i know my basketball and have played it all my life and my father has been a coach for over 20 years, If i have one guy on my team that can dominate or has a hot hand im gonna get him the ball everytime i possibly can. People on the game talk about people exploiting Hibbert. If im using Georgetown and the other team cannot stop him then u better expect me to be getting Hibbert the ball every time i can until you can find a way to stop him. Now i have played many games against Georgetown because they are my roomates favorite team and i typically play as Duke. I'm not gonna lie Hibbert can be hard to stop but there are definitely ways to take him out of the game and i have done it. So the way i see it is if someone is not using exploits and simply keeps going to a certain person i do not really understand how u "Sim Players" can be upset about the whole situation. In High school, i played against and guarded a player who is currently playing Division 1 basketball at Penn State University. Now the team that he played on was fairly good but everyone in the gym knew that he was the best player on their team. About 95% of the time they ran their offense he touched the ball at least once before the ball went through the basket with him scoring on average 50% of their points. Now would one of u "sim players" consider this glitching. I have witnessed and played against what alot of u people are calling being a cheeser. So my question is How can you say that someone is a cheeser if they do not glitch??

My problem with what people do with Hibbert is not offensively, its the crap they pull defensively. If I cant stop you, just keep it up. If you player is a beast down low, give the man the ball and do is thing. Make me stop you. Thats a normal game, unless the player keeps spin glitching with him, but I havent seen a lot of that in my limited action this year but I'm sure its still around. But defensively what they do is ridiculous. They will run him through your passing lanes making it hard to pass. I have yet to understand maximum passing, and probably wont attempt it, but when my players keep throwing it into his legs, it gets annoying.

Easy enough right, dont throw it near him. Thats what they want, they will bait you into thinking you have a shooter open, then grab control of Hibbert and let him block the **** out of the ball. If you dont have a good center, its hard to run an offense against these Hibbert abusers, as he will just destroy almost every post move the average center can pull out, and thats after he chased the guards and forwards around the key. especially on the road against g'town, if they get a little momentum, the average center will miss loosely contested layups. If you want to play as Hibbert, dont chase my players around the key, because when I scored 20 points in the 1st half with my center, he baited me into numerous "open" looks in the second half which he would block, its not hard when your player has a 99 block rating, and its hard to prevent when, by interfering with your passing lanes, prevents you from making good passes for 30 seconds of the shot clock. These players turn the man defense into a zone, and the computer wont always make the best passes under pressure, therefore just throwing the ball to the opponent appears often.

This is the same player in another post I have that intentionally fouled me to f me out of points. These players know what they are doing and are good at it. If your only player, on offense, and defense is Roy Hibbert, that is abusing an exploit, and that is cheesing.

See WHODEY you misunderstand sim play. Double teaming hibbert is NOT cheese. But doing the glitch where you double team him then steal the ball real fast is. You see the difference. You could double him every single time he got the ball, thats fair play, BUT dont abuse the game and double rip steal the bal from him, thats a glitch.
