i was ranked around 1900 and i played jayrun who was 32, i beat him. i move up to around 1700 and he stays at 32...shouldnt i move up more, and him move down in the rankings?

It goes STRICTLY by the number of wins. Unless you have absolutely no life and no job you will never catch the guys at the top because they average about ten online games a day. The rankings do not go by level of competition...just by number of wins .........period.

No. The pontiac uses the ELO system.

The rankings do not go by level of competition...just by number of wins .........period.ah thats dumb, the last 2k game i played online was nba 2k6 and its raanking was so much better..
