They submit their rosters around Jan 15th for the game to make it into production. I also agree with you. I really liked the way the online roster updates were done so frequently on MLB the Show on PS3. They were updated often and there were two pages that informed us of the attribute changes and player updates.

well, at least tejada will be on the astros,renteria on the tigers,andruw jones on the dodgers,orlando cabrera on the white sox,miggy cabrera on the tigers,dan haren on the dbacks,fuikedome on the cubs,adam scott on the orioles. Am i the only one who is ecstatic to play with all these great players who switched teams?

I don't think Fuikedome (Sp?) will be in the game- he hasn't played an official MLB game. Thankfully, most of the Red Sox farm system will be right (Can't wait to use Jacoby Ellsbury and Clay Buchholz).

Yes, ***udome will be in the game, he will be a genaric player when the game ships and then after he has played a MLB game he will be added in the next roster update, EXACTLY how Dice K was last year.

I hope we can use a 40 man roster online.Like if I don't want Eric Aybar on my team when I play an online game I can send him down and bring up Brandon Wood instead.Have this option only before you find a match.

***idome (sp?).....will most likely be in the game after the roster update, like Igawa and Dice K....so in the initial release they mite just have a generic person and then when the update comes out they will actually have him in the game

Roster updates made by the companies suck anyway....the equipment usually is off and you cant name all of the minor leaguers....and what not....if you can find someone online who changes these things and updates them everyday like CJ Nelson did.....you can appreciate the roster updates....because their better then wha 2K has to offer.

2k had an update last year on release date. But still they should have the rosters updated every week it really bothers me when I see a player no longer on a particular team and 2k has not put him on the right team.

Any how hard would it be to update the rosters a week before the game is sent to be produced?
