I understand we are all fans of baseball here, but why the f are we constantly bringing up the Show? Its a 2k site for 2k8. Get of your soapbox and go to the Show's forum. Those of us who are checking this site for updates are gettin pretty tired of having to filter through the meaningless junk that is "the Show" posts. Glad you like the game that much. If it is that great why bother waiting for or anticipating the release of 2k8?

I know that grfx arent everything but those screenshots look horrible.....all of them. Tejada looks nuttin like the real Tejada. Also y does ARod have a #13 on the FRONT of his jersey!?.....since when do the Yankees have numbers anywhere other then the back!?....And the guy above me is right....y r we talking bout the Show so much?....who gives a shiet? this is a 2K forum....but for the record the game (grfx wise) looks horrible.

oooh man ok look, I WILL boast the PS3 in alot of situations why? because I had an xbox and it screwed me over royally I have around 8 close freinds 6 of them own a 360 5 of them have had to get theres fixed. PS3 has been great to me and as a baseball fanatic its been even better The show isnt the greatest game ever made its just alot better in many ways and im not the only who claims that on this board from time to time. and yeah i suggest things for 2K I dont see the problem with that, the game has alot of problems I love my ideas I love alot of other peoples ideas as well its not that big of a deal. If u dont like something i post ignore it thats why i do most of the time or if u feel u need say something fine disagree your entitled to your opinion its just a message board. I dont mean to come off arrogant really and honestly overall i really dont think i am, but i do push things i believe in so if theres a topic on something 2k doesnt have that the show does have ill mention it, why? because I think anyone who loves baseball should really be playing the show as well. if you see someone struggling with something and u can offer them help wouldnt u do that? I boast the PS3 to help the baseball fanatics out there who own a 360 to switch up not for sonys sake but for the baseball lovers because from my experience its alot better to own a PS3.

As for the show topics being on this board big deal ignore it if you guys dont want it on here, and most will in that situation, thing is people are responding because theyre interested so thats why the topics are on here. you think if someone posted something on the show and no one replied they would keep pluggin the board with the same type of topics? its interesting and again can pursuade and help people see what theyre a missing and perhaps help them in wanting a PS3 where u have options. so thats my little rant please kim try to not harp on everything i post its kind of a damper and im not going anywhere untill March 4th

I honestly dont know whats the point arguing between which system is better.. The point is 2k sports is dropping the ball big time with not coming out with more info on mlb 2k8.. The show is only for ps3 and thats why Brinkman did the interview for "ps3 mlb 2k8", but believe me mlb 2k8 will be the same for both systems.. That interview was to get attention for 2k8 for ps3 because the market on ps3 has grown since the price cut.. But for some unknown reason there's still not enough info on the game consdering 2k sports has the rights on mlb video games

Here's the thing. Maybe I'm wrong cause I'm not gonna spend the $400 for a system when my 360 works fine. I have heard the horror stories and actually sent my first one in for locking up while playing 2k6. Since they returned mine (or a diff one, not sure) it has run fine with the added addition of the cooling system that hooks to the back. Aren't we comparing apples to oranges here? Isn't the ps3 a better engine than the 360? I don't have a full understanding of the differences, so I won't be ignorant and guess, but my point isn't to have people never mention the show, other games have also been brought up in threads for 2k7 as well as 2k8, but to keep starting threads that say "look heres new screen shots for the show" just seems a bit far off the topic. After 2k8 pics come out I wouldn't mind the look at how the graphics are similar/different. That is a relevant topic. The 2k8 page I thought would be a get hyped for the new game board not a look how cool the show looks and 2k8 will blow.

I am probably reading to much into it and I could just ignore it, but i check the forum pretty regularly everyday and it seemed to me that on the first page of topics there were 3 threads that were devoted to the show. The 2k8 forum has been opened less than a week! and already 3 topics! Just a bit suprised by the number of ps3 lovers and 2k haters. I said originally I am not opposed to a Show thread, but does there have to be so many topics in a 2k thread? Another instance would be if you were on a Redskins message board, why not post a bunch of Cowboys threads? Sorry to start all this mess, wasn't trying to say I was angry with anyone or that their point of view was silly, just wish we could consolidate the show info to a thread. Last count I believe was 5 total.

I will step back and go about my normal filtering of thread topics, just hit me funny today to see that thread "New Show Pics".

never say never. Remember major league sports are revenue driven. New stadium, new uniforms mean people have to buy the new look. Why do you think Kobe Bryant changed his number? He gets a cut of the sales, his fans want to wear his number. Why do any of the franchises change uniforms? New look, sure. Maybe trying to create some new luck, ok. But lets face it, when new stuff comes out; hats, jerseys, people want to have it because it is new and who wants to wear outdated stuff? I do, but that is just me. Not saying they should change them, but maybe the thouhgt is to keep the historical jerseys with the historic stadium. To wear them in a new ball park might be sacreligous or taboo. Leave the old and classic with the old and classic. Just a possible thought process by the wonderful Mr. Steinbrenner

The graphics aren't as good but the animation is par and the gameplay was better we all want 2k8 to be great but is has not been yet so don't trash mlb 08 because of it. You probably have a 360 and have no choice because if you did last year there was no comparison in gameplay.

oh lord..this is the crap I mean.if your ps3 owner thats fine but this is a 2k fourm.its nice to hear whats going on for the show but this aint really the section for it.just because its convient to you dosent make it right.Not every die hard baseball fan wants or has to play the show.I played the show only because I accidently broke my 2k6 game >< and i liked the show although the graphics sucked and the stances werent much better in my oppinon.but i Liked the frachise mode and all the things they put in it.but im not gonna go around going hey 2k why dont you copy the show and do this.I'd perfer 2k to find there own way.And you know you want people to switch over for sonys sake.so dont give me that oh im just trying to guide the people thing because thats part of the whole Arrogant issue.which I guess I kinda understand because you said you got screwd but come on.the whole oh your missing out thing is a little played over.are there not enough people in the online service that you have to pursuade people?Besides did'ant we agree to just let the future play out?And please.i do not harp.Im just making sure your head dosent swell to the size of barry bonds
