Wouldnt you all agree that having a game that has, ONE PUNCH KNOCKOUTS be something you want. But in the same respect have it to where the game is challenging enough to not have your record be 59-0 with 59 ko's even after you have got the hang of the game. Fight Night was horrible with this. I can count the fights that went past 4 rounds on one hand and in a lot of fights I try to make it go the distance but they just simply cant. I was also hitting at 60 % plus accuracy in all my fights. Please make it so a boxer with superb defensive skills actually has a defense.

I told all my buddies that were Fight Night fanatics that Fight Night was never a true simulation of the sport of boxing and they thought i was nuts. Every fighter basically fights the same when it comes down to it. The beauty of the sport is that different fighters have different styles, and you just can't walk in and blast everyone out in a few rounds. In a true boxing sim game their should be a lot of boxers with a lot of different styles. There should be boxers, punchers, counter punchers, defensive wizards, body punchers, slick southpaws, left hook artist....etc. The game should be diverse enough to cover a variety of styles. Fight Night was basically an I hit you...you hit me and let's see who stands at the end type game, There really was no strategy involved, no trying to figure out the puzzle of a superb defensive fighter, no cutting off the ring on a slick boxer and slowing him down with hard body shots, no real infighting to speak of. I mean, it's just not REAL boxing. One punch KO's do happen in boxing but really not that often, and that's how a boxing sim should be. Th potential for a one punch KO should be there, but they shouldn't happen every fight or every other fight. I just hope that 2K is smart enough to take advantage of the things that EA failed to do. Their track record shows that they are, which means that they probably will.
