I have a question.....

I have just recently grabbed this game. And have enjoyed the online play to an extent.

But, when I challenge someone, or vice verse, and the game is ranked. How come my record does not reflect the game played?

I have played maybe, 10 games online. And my record is still 0-0-0. And no stats from my games. Is the ranking and stats system broken, or just not working at all?

i have no idea why you are having that problem. do you have 360 or ps3 version?

I have PS2. When i start game, i highlight the option for ranked game (No/Yes), then we play, and when game is over, it records no stats whatsoever.

I'm beginning to think this was a completely wrong purchase. I have been Xbox owner since it came out. Hate playstation, but didnt see paying $400 for Xbox 360. So i got ps2.

I guess that was my 1st mistake.

I mean, i'd be happy if i could actually find a game once and awhile. And see my stats, so I know how Im doing. But god, it seems this game has too many bugs, other than the dozen or so gameplay bugs.]

So if anyone knows what i have to do to get my stats going, please let me know.

i have no idea. i have it for 360. there are a few issues, but i dont think that stas are one of them. time to pony up, trade everythng in and get the 360 man.....

You could try creating a new account. The first time I tried to create an online username and play, it didn't save my record either. I play on PS2 also.

Same issue. I'm done. The game is dreadful, and so is 2k sports. Can noone make a hockey game that is enjoyable or competeitive for everyone, with out the 45 different exploits?

No hockey game is ever fun if you can't find some honest players to matchup with. There are a lot of cheaters online but there are some users that won't use every possible exploit. If you can find those few, this game is a ton of fun to play (with the right sliders).

What username(s) were you using online?

I used anXiety first, then tried Meetdaboards, and now am currently playing with my THIRD try at getting some kind of record tracking...... name is DrEaMmAcHiNe.

If you want to have any luck with it getting it fixed.. you have to be heard first.. go to 2khockey.net and make a thread BISH help me or something, BISH is the exec producer of 2k8 i believe.

Are you playing in the Mini-Rink Lobby? Sometimes even ranked games don't count on your record if you play someone in there. Go to either the Beginner or Advanced Lobby and try playing from there.

I don't know if this helps, but today I played 3 games online with a new username (to test if your problem only applies to new accounts) and only one of them was placed on my record. I played the same person over and over until the game showed up so you could try that as a possible fix.

Yeah it seems to only effect new accounts if your not having any luck I have an extra account I can give with only a few games played that I don't use anymore.

I've played in all lobbies, and quick match.

I also played the same guy 3 times in a row the other night (FLA19) or something. Still no records.

I keep playing though, I like the realism.

I tried to play 2 days ago on a 0-0 account and the game didn't register, this is what happens when stupid ****s like Dangler13,VIP61 AND Russian17 make ****ing 300 names , i am not joking people, you have to live it to believe it.

So they just tottaly abandoned the record system for new accounts?

That's pretty lame. Why not go by IP addresses? I mean, it sucks to play someone, ACTUALLY win, see thier record reflected, but you recieve nothing.

The ranks mean **** to me, its the stats I want to see, my averages and such to see how I improve ya know.


Well, I think I'm going to make a ladder at MyLeague.com. I know, it has had some issues, but it's still better than nothing. I used one before when I played the first NHL 2K game on XBox when Live first came out. WOrked well too. When I get it up, i'll put the info here. And if anyone wants to use it, be my guest, and maybe we can have a nice competitive ladder going.

i'm having the same problem on ps3! its wrecking my head no end! it took me long enough to get games online, and why are there no official ps3 leageus?? shouldnt be asked to shell out the money if we're not offered the proper support! ive never had a problem with playing online until this game and on from konami which will remain unnamed!

Same here. I have the PS3 myself and I play games in the Advance room in the lobbies and yet I never got a game that was ranked. I played 5 games and none has been ranked.

Well, we shall see. I wasn't going to play a game untill they fixed it. So I will test this tonight. And if it doesn't work, i'm trading hockey in for the .21 cents it's worth and getting something worth while.

Well I played one game today is it was ranked. I played a game like 3 days ago and finally it was ranked today. So I guess they fixed it.
