No 1 is complaining about double teaming or trapping, ppl are complaining about the double team glitch that steals the ball 99% of the time, 2k acknowledges its a glitch thats why they patched it in NBA 2k8

You got that right, There is no reason 2k games should have the same cheese moves year after year.

This is the 3rd year I've been on Choops and I think this is probably the most cheeser friendly game of them all. 2k6 had the reverse dunk in the paint but at least you could stop it with a block or charge (under the rim!). 2k7 had the baseline abuse that led to a foul 80% of the time and the inbound runout which could be stopped by running press.

This year has the double team steal which can be further abused if you manually run press (this is ron the uk don's cheese), alleyoop passes to beat the press (I just saw it the first time Friday afternoon being done consistently) and lead passes thru defenders.

Because Choops doesn't have the community that NBA does, we probably won't see the alleyoop passes get taken out because not enough people know about it but 2k should at least give you something to combat the trash instead of forcing people to fight cheese with cheese.

EDIT: Another thing I didn't mention is the lack of reach in fouls. There is no way in he ll someone should be able to reach in with a second player and deflect a pass because they're going ape **** with the steal button. I usually try to bait someone into bringing another defender to double or reach on my bigs and if I try to pass to whoever is left open, the defender shouldn't get springs in his shoes to intercept the pass like its All Pro 2k8.

Thats got to be the gheyest shi t ever, Ive played my share of lead passers but I haven't encounter that alley hoop BS. Cheesers will find anything.

Exactly, What urks me is when you play the cpu and you reach like 2 times a foul is called but online people will hack the sh it out of for 20 minutes and only have 3 reach in fouls called.

They just doing half *** jobs with fixing things, all they have to do is let me steal the ball if im in position and if Im not let him catch it easy.

Just played some guy who double teamed constantly. I was Stanford, he was Arkansas.

Every single time I had the ball (no matter where I was, what I was doing) he would double team me. About 70% of the time he'd get the steal. I had like a 10 point lead at halftime and to start the second half he got a few steals off double teaming when I inbounded and came back. Then I pulled away as his press couldn't do anything and I ripped it to shreds with just passing the ball around and looking for the open man (since I always had one cause he was double teaming), then an alley oop and it was over.

Still, annoying as hell. And then when I pulled away in the last 2 minutes (when the game had been tied all half and I took like a 15 point lead then) he said the game (or me, couldn't understand him) was cheating because his double team didn't work and Brook Lopez blocked two straight drives.
