Please forgive me for such a simple question but I'm brand new to 2k basketball. I've played Live for quite some time and just recently made the switch. I'm assuming theres some sort of timing aspect to the shoot stick. Is it the same as free throws where you bring it back and then back up again on release or can u simply bring it back and let go? I've tried both ways and not sure it really made a difference.

i know the shot stick is new to you and you want to try it out...but trust me man..use the button for jumpers and the shot stick in the paint.

Yea, just when you inside, cause if you use it on the outside, you are going to brick, all day, plus the timing is off, a lot.

I agree with these guys...shoot stick in the lane, otherwise just use the normal shooting button.
