Serious issue with this game

OK, I'm ticked now. I was really beginning to enjoy this game and thought that maybe, just maybe, 2k had gotten it's act together and actually put out a good sports game.

Now I am officially hacked-off. I just went and checked my stats for the legacy and they are all f-ed up. I checked them a couple games ago and they seemed fine (I have no idea if they were or not, but they seemed like it). I played a game and checked them and now my top guys have only 7 ppg.

That's not all. Despite playing around 18 games of my season, most of my guys have 14 points total and have played/started just two games. Meanwhile, my point guard -- who scores occasionally but not much, probably 10 ppg max -- has 147 points in two games. WTF?

So, 2k, you've won again. Your comittment to putting out crappy sports titles is intact and you have ticked off another customer -- again.

The only thing that I can tell happened is that I exported my team around the same time. I have no idea why that would cause a problem (or if that is just a coincidence) but that may be it. If someone would not mind trying that (check your stats first and DON'T SAVE YOUR DYNASTY AFTER EXPORTING) I'd really appreciate it. It probably won't help me, but I'll know for the future.

That's it. If you export your team it screws up your stats. The same problem was in the game last year, people complained, and they obviously didn't fix it for this year.

Thanks Jeff. I appreciate the check. Didn't know about the issues from last year (haven't played a college game since original Nintendo).

And IBB... I don't know what your deal is, unless that was sarcasm and I just didn't get it. 2k has had some real issues with their games' gameplay and stats accumulation, either in simulation or during play (MLB 2k7 doesn't calculate ERA correctly, for example.)

This is not a one-time thing, nor is it the worst offense. It's just the most recent.

Yea, but 2K shows improvement in they games every year, son. Like, EA has good games, but tghe g-play is... eh!

All-Pro = Waste of Time because People still would rather play NFL 2k5
The Bigs = Waste of Time and Money
MLB = The first one was probably the best installation of it, 2k7 blew, not as bad as 2k6, but still pretty bad
NBA and College Hoops = My favorite version of both games was 2k5. 2k put them out for $20 and they were about the most solid games I'd ever played in my opinion. There certainly were not ridiculous glitches people were using in them.
NHL - Why waste the time. They put out almost the same game each year. Last one I bought was 2k4, played others, but 2k4 was about the best out there. now they are to into moves and shot sticks, a casual hockey fan wont know how to do this. what happened to a pass and x shoot.

Far and large, the older versions of these games were far better then what they are now. They keep trying to do bigger and better things and in the process mess up fundamental things, like wtf. I play whatever games I like, I'm gonna buy Madden because I love the experience. Fact is, 2005 was the worst edition of Madden, and I traded with a friend for his 2k5. Stop acting like a fanboy and realize that EA is still outgrossing 2k, and where 2k could capitilize with mlb, they keep putting out shiity versions of the game. EA puts out many more sports games then 2k, and they are also decent quality except for the basketball ones, so why cant 2k compete?

Games like NBA Street or Tiger Woods take nothing for EA to make, they add a few new features and put out almost the same game. Still people buy it, still they making money from it. People from 2k complain about EA and the dynasty, but they are preserving it by creating vast titles for players to choose from. And don't tell me the Bigs is their way of competing with that, biggest waste of money 2k could have ever invested. But seems like EA has a lot of names for genres of sports that outsell 2k.

Gameplay those games are better, overall Madden kicks the shiit out of All-Pro and and NHL better the 2k.

Its not just gameplay or its not just presentation, its both, and gameplay in 2k games just isnt that good for the most part.

07 blew compared to this version. there were so many money plays. in a 5 min game i saw my friends have a 78-68 game. a td almost every play. 08 a couple of more bugs but gameplay is a little tighter and no play is a guarantee.
