Improvements need to be made to next years game!!! You want us to pay sixty dollars a year for your games but the improvements are far to few. I mean 2K Share, the Collge Hoops Tonight , and Selection Sunday Show are cool features. But the gameplay has got to be tweaked. First off there should be a few more dunking animations. I know you can't have the game being to close to NBA 2K8. You want to be able to tell the difference between the two games. I understand that but add a few more cool dunk animations. The sound effect is off on the dunking in this game. When i dunk it sounds like i am swishing a three pointer or a jump shot. Something doesn't seem right about that. I really hope you fix this. Also i have noticed that say at the end of a game and you have to foul the other team to stop the clock and they shoot free throws they will miss and its almost impossible to ever get the rebound. They usually always get the rebound and put the ball back up and score on you. Another thing you need to strongly consider is getting rid of the intro sequence to each game with the players coming out of the locker room instead of forcing us to always watch this please. Also please think about making the Big Dance seem special and really different versus the regular season instead of just a extension of the regular season. Some ideas i have for you are in the season, make some games that aren't big televised games and don't have the commentators. Anotherwords just have the PA announcer. Then basically when your teams get more prestige your team should get more big game exposure with the commentary. Can you please show a teams Top 25 ranking more if there of course in the Top 25. Show it on the score bar while your playing the game or just show it beside your teams name at the beginning of the game. You have never really done that. The ABL recruiting feature is a cool idea but a mess right now as far as the way its layed out. Its a little confusing anotherwords. A easier way to navigate through it would be nice. Now lets go into what you can do to improve the legacy whenever you make it to the tournament. When your team wins the national title the reward you get seems very minor and it honestly doesn't make me feel like i wanna play another season just to see my name on the front of a newspaper and the appearence of my team trying to cheer the victory. Sometimes the camera doesn't even show the right team at the end of the game who won the national title. We need a little bit longer celebration. Show the winning team cutting the nets down and being rewared the trophy or even the crowd rushing the floor. Make people feel like they have actually won the national title. One thing you could defenitly do to make the Big Dance appear different versus the regular season is have the starting lineups announced or something for all the NCAA tourney games. Also for the Final Four make it seem a little different versus the rest of the tournament before it. In closing if you can incorporate all of the features and improvements into next years it will be worth buying. First there are four type of dunks and more than four animations, that is plenty.

If the computer gets too many offensive rebounds, adjust the sliders.

Why is the scene where the players exit the locker room bad? That is a great idea

The rest I have not experienced yet so I have no comment, but this is the best basketall simulation made yet, and if you dont like it, try march madness which is worse.

Hey guys these are your opinions. I have my opinion. I know my sports and i have played previous versions. There simply isn't much new and i will say that the end of the season after you've won a national title is a real bummer. It really does not make me feel i want to go on with the legacy. Its funny i try this game every year and every year i get a dissapointed by something. I just take the game back and think that maybe next year it will be worth 60 dollars of my hard earned money. Honestly i can deal with some of the gameplay issues but i want the game to really make you feel like your in the Big Dance at the end of the season and not just playing a extension of the regular season wich just feels boring. Not only that if you win a national title your rewarded with your name in a newspaper. A newspaper thats not that special there should be more to it to make you really feel like its worth playing even one season on the game. Ecspecially making you feel like you wanna play legacy beyond one year. I wanted to add to it that i like the highschool format of recruiting that the game used to have. If you not going to go back to that please think about making it where you can recruit any player on the ABL not just one thats not realistic at all. I want next in my genaration games.

I agree, the game needs some work, but in my opinion its pretty solid. Some animations need to be tweaked, conference tournaments and ncaa tournament need to feel more realistic, announcers need ot not be so repetitive, and other then some minor gameplay issues its a relatively good game.

Like i said i can defenitly deal with some of the gameplay issues if they can simply make the ncaa tournament somehow feel different to the regular season and offer a more rewarding ending to the season for the national title than your teams name on a newspaper and show my team cutting the nets down holding the trophy or have a virtual Greg Gumbel or Clark kellog hand the trophy to my team as they celebrate that would make it worth it and i dont think anybody would disagree.

Bwnarrow i do not like EA's games. I like 2Ks games more but i haven't ever actually owned one. I have always took em back. I want them to make a great game and they have,'t done that since they started making college basketball games. I feel there getting close. We will see what they offer next year.

I agree with you, especially on the celebration part. That's why I rented CH2k8, at least in 2k7 on xbox360, when you do win the championship, your team at least cuts down the nets with the coach and the players. From all articles CH2K8- the developers bragged on how they had ENHANCED the championship celebration, apparently the developers need to take a look at nfl2k5. Oh well, I'll continue to rock last years version, until they make some more changes.

probs not as they would lose money doing that. 1 out of every 100 basketball fans will watch womans basketball as opposed to mens basketball. id be surprised to see it done.

Yep, that's why I will continue to play 2k7 on the 360, and will continue to play it until they come back with another college hoops series. In fact 2k7 also had the name of coaches already attached to the teams. So in my opinion 2k8 was a step back.
