since you cant use espn call it 2ksn (2k sports network) be creative.

What am I saying? 2k5 is the game every one really wants but in nextgen.

Actually I'd much rather just have an improved version of 2K8 with more game modes offline, less cheese (and lag, for me) online, and finer tuned AI. Oh, and more players. Lots more players. :D

APF2k8 is much better than 2k5.
2k5 has the franchise mode over 2k8 which I think will be addressed somehow in 2k9.

More LOS options would be nice on both sides, especially Defensive formation specific audibles like offense.
Move freely in and out of shotgun. ie... make it a motion like feature instead.
More player models. Too many duplicates.

Make no huddle and spike the ball control to include trigger.
ie... Trigger + y = no huddle.
trying to catch a pass sometimes the game thinks I'm calling no huddle.

If they can't implement assigned blocking at least assign direction to focus blocking.
TWO MINUTE DRILL!!

Make Legend mode more than just a slider issue.
Make it less run baby sitting. 2 men in motion is possible, but of course result in a penalty.
Make us have to check those shifts and motions that players are properly lined up with an option of course to correct it.

I think the games are even. My main beef with APF right now is that, compared to 2k5, it has very little control over the defense. In 2k5, you could position players to play inside or out, soft or bump; now it assigns zones when I try to do that (is there another way?). And you can't position lineman or linebackers too well, either.

But, APF is a good game. You can finally "bomb" a pass more than forty yards :P

APF IS a good game . When I say next gen im talking animation gameplay. APF is perfect to me in gameplay and graphics. It is the other stuff that was in 2k5 that can be added to APF just leave out NFL and ESPN.
