I don't mean to laugh, but it is just too funny.
I get back online for the first time since September with 100% rating. Granted I didn't play 100+ games, but I played fair... sim... whatever you call it.

Ok.
I'm playing this guy and I won't go into the name calling, but he has Young as QB, Mackey as TE and basically that was all I know because that was pretty much his entire game.

Without going into all the details I win it 24-21.
It was a good game. He kept me on my heels.

As usual I send out all positive ratings.
I take a look at mine and I see 1 negative rating. And I'm trying to figure out what was the problem. It says Abuses Exploits.

I had ZERO sacks!
ZERO passing TDs, but I did have two 100 yds receivers!
50-60 yds rushing!
ZERO QB rushing!
No Manual blitzing!
No Manual movement of Defensive players before snap.
No didn't motion any player at any time... run or pass.
ONE PLAY WITH 4+ receivers which was Gun:Quad for 10 yds!!!!
The only no huddle was the end of the 2nd half which resulted in 3 points. 10-7
I ran about 3 screens, inside runs, stretch runs, treys and traps.
I passed some outs, outs, drags, slants, streaks, post, fade streaks...
SCORING: Craig on two short runs and my generic FB.
NO SUBSTITUTIONS!
Punted on all 4th downs.

What the heck did I exploit?

Early in the game I realized his 2 silver DEs were getting in a little too easy so I ran more shotgun then I normally do and they were new plays I've never used online.

When he was down 24-14 he rans his way down the field with Steve Young.
NO PROBLEM: Not a complaint! As I've said since the game came out I will have no problem with QB running because we now have something to use against it. I used it once.

So it is no 24-21 and he has 2 timeouts and I'm around my own 30 yd line.
Remember what I said about his DE?
Well, he was playing the run and I tossed one over the top of his CB on 2nd and 1, because I ran for 9 on 1st down.

Still time left.
With 2 minutes left I converted another 1st down.

He has no Timeouts left and it is 3rd and 2. I run a swing play to Craig and just get the first down, but out of bounds.

From there I run a few plays to run the clock down and then kneel it out.

I won't lose any sleep over it.
Think he might be upset that when he tied the game at 7-7 he celebrated a little too early with the delay at the 2 yd mark, to do his little dance?

I might PM him to allow him to explain it.

Anyway...
Happy New Year to all of you!
Please stay safe. And remember to look out for the other guy/gal driving intoxicated.

did you go for it on fourth down? i had a guy that i beat that i rated negative because first quarter right i score easily, i intercept it first quarter again punt it away and this time its four down and he goes for it three times in a row and actually gets it with a few different plays thats not sim to me so i would give the guy a negative rating, i beat him anyways and he gave me one too. win get a negative..

Nope! I never needed too.
No trick plays either.
Variable hikes.
No cadence exploits.
Nothing...

This guy I don't know. I'll see if he returns my pm I sent him asking him to explain what exploit I suppose to have abused.

If not... oh well.

Madden players have infested APF and so will the NEG's.

I try to be cautious too, but in order to do so I have to look at their online data.
Because of people giving negative feedback from a loss, I try not to jump the gun based on their rating system. And of course the same can be said the other way around. People with multiple accounts can make their rating misleading.

As soon as you join the lobby challenges begin to ring out.

I'll play again, because despite the rating I enjoyed myself.
It took a little getting use to again, but it was nice.

I have that same problem with sore losers. I even got verbally abusive one time which is funny because I don't have a headset to be verbally abusive with.

Ok. I'm looking at my online card and something told me to look at the rating page where it gives a percentage of who rated me or I rated them.

I look on the left panel and see someone claimed I quit.
Now... I've never experienced a disconnect and I've refused quits by players because they waited until they realized the game was over in the 4th.

If this is what people use the rating system for then they need to put something in place.
Number one a person shouldn't be able to accuse you of quiting a game you in no way quit or was disconnected.

If they can't do this then they need to do away with being able to offer feedback or ratings of other players. Exception might be league games.
