putting jerome and reggie is a deadly combo, but you'll find out it's better to have a generic line and have the guys at lb instead.

Yes I agree that having them at LB are better as you see in my Signature. I was just answering the Question :)

What works best for me (using 3-4) is to have DE-Simmons & DE-Martin and then OLB-Lloyd & ILB-Lambert. (I like Manley but he just jumps early WAY too often.) High tier Dline pics seem like a waste. They just don't seem to do enough on a consistant basis to warrant them. On the other hand I tried 4 LBs and no legend Dlinemen and it didn't seem to work well either. DT's in any tier seem a total waste in this game. Hopefully 2K9 will fix these oversights.

Yes in my 3-4 team I have Butkus, Singletary, Jerome Brown, Van Pelt, and John Anderson and I love that team also. You have to have a big Nose Tackle for this too work in my experience.

In real life yes. Doesn't seem to be true in this game, though. I gave up using a Legend DT at all in my regular teams (have one in my CAP Chise). I've had much more luck with 2 DEs.

Yeah, the 3-4 works much better online on the All-pro difficulty than on the legend difficulty

i once had gino marchetti, keith millard, william perry, dan hampton, and jack youngblood in that order. i sat in 5-2 all game and needless to say i had a lot of sacks :) . and when it wasnt a sack it was a heavily overthrown pass:) :) . as long as they only had 2 wr's i was fine, night train and lester hayes made quick work of them :) :) :) .
