2k9, anyone heard about it?

A mod claims there's going to be one. Right now its barely above a rumor there will be one.. so as far as features it will have, only 2K knows or is figuring it out.

They will release some information to us when they have something to show is my guess.
Last year people got all out of wack over demo graphics and thought that was going to be the game and stuff.

We didn't hear anything until February or March I think.

They do not have a license issue to stop them this time so to be perfectly honest with you there is no reason not to have a 2k9.


The issue will be will they have fixed the problems with 2k8 and added more gameplay options to the game rather than worrying about the graphic happy crew.

The only upgrade I'd like to see graphic wise is for them to have a random 3D player generator so the game isn't filled with look alikes.

Give me more gameplay options, more modes, EXPAND practice mode: 7 on 7, position drills, 2 minute drill

Much improved playbook editor and homefully a fully dynamic play editor which would include lateral plays for that last kickoff, some FB: PA/Screens, TE: Screens, Better sideline coverage, etc...

Cool, I hope you are right. The feature I want most of all is franchise mode. I really miss that from 2k5. I doesn't matter if the league has a history or not. I never worried about the history of the nfl when I played 2k5. Drafting and crafting my own team was a blast. It's my biggest gripe about 2k8. I want to choose individuals for the filler players, they don't have to be great but it allows my to attempt to customize my team to better fit my style of play. Not to mention the fact the the players skills would change with time. Nothing like drafting an unknown and turning him into a league leader, or at least trying to.(some of them were beyond hope.)
