Only difference was I was prepared this time. GT was R THE GREAT. Had 100% FB I think or maybe 93% FB w/ 100 somethin games played. So I figured good game right? To quote Charlie Murphy : "Wrong! Wrong!"
I kick the ball off to him. He goes 3 deep and and connects on a pass to Rice for minimal gain, 1st down. Next thing I know he starts no huddling in order to go deep to Rice on every consecutive play after that. He no huddles down the whole field and scores. So I get the ball trying to show him something and do a deep lob to Rice and score in 10 seconds :rotfl: We go back and forth until the score is 14-14. So to counter the no huddle I play Nickel Man 2. My D consisted of Dave Wilcox, Nick Buonicotti, Lem Barney, Eugen Robinson, Terry McDaniel, Dan Saleamua, Dexter Manley.
At half time I thought he would quit/disconnect (score was 42-21) but I think he thought he was getting the ball. I proceeded to get the ball and score on a deep route to Rice just because I had no mercy for him after the no huddling.
Needless to say he only got one more touchdown until he quit in the 3rd quarter after his no huddle offense didn't work on his own 30 yd line when it was 4th & 18 :rolleyes:
Score was 49-21 w/ 3 minutes left in the 3rd...
