I think that would be a great idea. The NCAAsses dont controll the NAIA at all. I know that these are not known colleges, but it is a start for a great college experience. You will have teams like Mo Valley, Bethel, Georgetown(KY), just to name a few. Let me know what you think about this idea.

And if 2k had to buy the rights for the NAIA, it wouldnt be much at all. Probably a 100x cheaper than the NCAA.

What about NCAA division II? With teams like North Alabama, Grand Valley St, Valdosta St, and NW Misourri St it would be a wide open game. Not to mention D II has a playoff!!!

Word. Who the hell would buy that ? 2K is going in the right direction, once the NFL\EA deal is done, I see an amazing NFL game coming.

Are you kidding me? A D II game would rock!! Next year, watch the I-AA and D II playoffs. You will see the best football of the year. Not some nowhere bowl game between 6-6 teams wo don't really want to be there in the first place, or watching Oklahoma getting its yearly beating in a BCS game. These guys are playing all out. It's win or season over. No popularity contest there. You can't match that kind of intensity, except in the NFL playoffs.

I am diggin the set up now. I could care less about NFL teams. I love the NFL, but I don't need them in my football video game.

I agree...this would be a great game. Let the little guys get a chance for a change. I think it would rock. To take it a step further, add D-III, & D-1AA, and be able to export them over to let's say a APF 2K9. I'm an NFL fan and a Madden fan but something like this would make me put Madden away for a while. It's refreshing to have a different take on football. The NFL is great and all but but what else can you do with Madden?

why do u got to bring Oklahoma in the conversation??? haven't they suffered enough?? So they take off for their vacation a little bit earlier than other teams..... it may not be a perfect strategy for winning ................ ;) but
Virginia Tech has lost 4 straight BCS bowl games too....

My bad. In my haste to get my yearly shot in against OK, I completely forgot about Va. Tech. Thanks for bringing them to my attention. Do you think we should ban them from the next BCS? Maybe taking a year off would help them. If they win next year, maybe we should say, thanks but no thanks. We'll take what's behind door #2. :rotfl:
