I almost know for sure it will be Mike Dunleavy. The guy was awesome in the summer league and now they're making him the go-to guy this season.

Dam u got kobe. I think it will be Jerry Stackhouse because he is the only star player on that team and he proved that he can do things alone. It could be Vince Carter also bcause he's 100% healthy and when he was healthy, he was a huge scoring threat.

i think its going to be my boy Vince too. I thought that I was the only one still on his side after the injuries. I hope he proves all his doubters wrong and plays like he did 2 years ago.

Definitely Mike Dunleavy...

His team is terrible this year, so I'm expecting him to have some nice stats...

Shawn Marion...........he's the only SF in the league that has averaged a double double in the last 3 years. They haven't been exact double double but 17 & 10 his sophomore year, 19 & 10 junior year, and 21 & 9.5 last year are monster numbers from a 3 spot.

I think some people have the wrong definition to breakout year. I see a breakout player being a player that goes from an average player to a star; or a ok player to a star. Some of the names named are already all-stars. I think Lamar Odom will become a all-star.

I also like:

Q. Richardson
R. Jefferson
R. Hamilton
J. Richardson
B. Well
T. Chandler
E. Curry
A. Jaminson
Ginobli

Some of these guys stats will improve while Jaminson will get more attention because he is on a better team.

Jamison's numbers will drop because he is not the main focus anymore. He is now behind Nowitzki and Finley when it comes to scoring options.

I think it'll be Jamal "that sucks for JWill, but I made out like a bandit" Crawford. He'll have a stellar season with his size and core group around him in up-and-comers Curry and Chandler. He also has Pippen to make him better.

I can't believe I forgot Crawford. Yeah, Jaminson scoring average will go down. His team is loaded with offensive players. He can really shine if he steps it up in the playoffs like Van Excel did last year.

Jamison wont have a breakout year....not possible if he is the 4th option on that team...

Hamilton really had a breakout year last year and isnt rounded enough as a player to grab 5 or 6 boards and is too busy off the ball for 5 dimes...

Breakouts will be.....

Zach Randolph
Eddy Curry
Tyson Chandler
Amare Stoudamire
Drew Gooden
Pau Gasol
Al Harrington

I THINK YOU GUYS ARE ASKING ALOT FROM DUNLEAVY

HE AINT AS GOOD AS VAN EXEL OR RICHARDSON

WE WILL SEE< BRANKS IS NORMALLY GOOD WITH HIS STAR SPOTTIN SO I SAY WAIT AND SEE

Yeah Qyntel will be really good if he doesn't pull a Damon Stoudamire/Lamar Odom and smoke himself outta the league...

He admitted he had a drug problem last year... but who doesn't on the Blazers

im gonna go out on a limb and say kwame brown... he did great in the begining last year.. but then quickly fizzled out.. im sure he's more than ready this year... plus.. wizards could really use a presence like him.. also, i hope jared jeffries is better.. i heard he was a good player.. but i never actually got to see him play..

Blackwiz
October 14th, 2003, 01:09 PM
ummm, i can't even go on a limb and say that, cuz I though Kwame would be a great PF, but he failed me and disappointed me. He plays like he's in High School or like he's nervous. He doesn't get BIG and grab boards or dunk like he should. But im hoping he'll improve
