Look at Osi's stats. He had 6 sacks in one game, and then he gets 1 sack like every 4 weeks. Also, some games hes good, but for lots of them, its like hes not there.

Then look at DeMarcus Ware or Jared Allen. They get like a sack per week and always create consistent pressure.

I'm not saying that hes bad, but hes just not as good as you people portray him to be. IMO, Strahan is much better.

IMO the best Lineman on the team this year was Justin Tuck. Osi is pretty good he didnt get too many sacks this year, as you said he had 6 in one game but he creates a ton of pressure on QBs. Strahan has had a better career obviously but he was not better than Tuck and Osi this year. Osi may not get sacks alot but he gets his hand on the ball alot and is always upfield on lineman. Look at the Dallas game, in the 4th quarter he didnt have a sack but he had Romo running for his life.

osi is the man

you need to learn to dig DEEPER into the "stats" and understand WHY hes such a good pass rusher.

it isnt all about "sacks", but more of the pressure you bring onn a consistent basis

I think Osi is good not great. He hasn't been sneaking up on teams after that 6 sack performance. Pats O-line will shut him down and gap tooth.

DON why even reply. Certain posts are so stupid they aren't worth replying to. These cats probably only watched one regular season Giants game and only the playoffs. Any time someone starts saying "only X number of sacks" they immediately prove they nothing of the game. They don't think about the double that Osi may be getting , or the pressure on the QB he may be getting, or how his penetration may make the QB drift into the waiting arms of another player , or the penetration make the QB sling the rock before he wants to or how is play may help free up another rusher, or how the offense may now have to keep extra men in the backfield to help with Osi or any number of other things his presence may make happen.

New York isn't dominating crap. Boston RedSox 2007 World Champions, Boston Celtics -best record in the NBA, and Patiots Dynasty. New York sucks.

I know that Osi gets pressure, but so does pretty much any above average DE.

Well look at your sig. Your asking for it if your teams can't back it up.

Not true. A quality edge pass rusher is a valuable commodity in the NFL, and they arent nearly as common as you think..there is a reason GM's are willing to break the bank for them when they find one.

The only defensive position that is harder to find, is the true shut down corner.

You can't just judge how good a player is by his stats. There are alot of things that players do that do not get recorded as a stat. If pressure on a QB was a stat then OSI would be at the top of the list.
