Can you guys make some suggestions for my big hit/physical play team? I don't want it to only be defense. I also want the really physical offensive players.

I want to mainly use legends in the game.

Do you think that the yeam would work?

Hmm, I don't know.

You'd probably want to set generics on the o-line to run blocking and play possession football with the silver HB and short passes to Tasker, Martin, and Green. The defense looks really tough. I think it should work.. I want to try it out now.

I really like Jack Tatum. He might not be the best at coverage, but when I've used him, hes always caused the WR to fumble or drop the ball.

Plus, big hits looks soooo much cooler than just batting the ball down. I know that they prob. aren't as effective, but don't they just look so sweet?

well i cant tell u exactly how u make ur team but i can show u mine

gold:
sam huff (gold LB)
bo jackson (gold HB)

silver:
mike curtis (OLB, strength, big hit)
jack tatum
joey brownie

bronze:
carl banks
clyde simmons
mike golic
dan saleaumua
william perry
tony tolbert

obviously i have too much D for ur tastes. if it helps u feel better ive won 4 out of 5 games with this team. being a very physical team the one thing i wanted to shine at the very least was stopping the run, thats why i have all the dt's and de's. if your fine with a generic d-line you can take out all 5 of those guys and get a bronze offense. i would suggest switch sam huff with **** butkus. you can get christian okoye and replace bo jackson with night train lane. also take steve tasker as one of your bronzes, and get steve grogan because hes tough as nails (he doesnt mind getting hit a few times). if possible you should create lawrence taylor because he loved to inflict pain on people. also try to get a linebacker with leadership because although i have no proof thats my theory on helping the entire defense hit harder

^^^ Thats a nice team

Also, do you think that the players wear down as the game goes on? Because maybe everytime the offense gets hit hard, they wear down.

well i think the game makes some sort of calculation (very very low probability) for a fumble everytime a big hit occurs, so the more big hits you do the more likely a fumble will happen eventually.. but thats just my theory:cool:

Thats a good theory. Cause it does happen in real life. The defense wears down if they get pounded a lot, and the offense gets worn down when they get hit a lot.

Kellen Winslow anyone? The Epic in Miami? (i think thats what its called)

Jack Tatum definatley should be on this team.Plus didnt he paralyze some guy with a cheapshot in the preseason? Maybe Darryl Johnston. Charlie Waters is a great hitter for a Bronze, plus hes really good in coverage.

I actually like this idea. Let me know who you put together and how your team goes.

My strong defense team seems to do this to opponents during games. By the end of games, even guys like Campbell & Barry aren't anywhere near as effective because of the likes of Derrick Thomas, Greg Lloyd, Ronnie Lott, etc beating down on them all game.
