I think there should be voice support for offline modes. This would be really useful for hands free line changes and strategy changes. It would be a lot easier if we could just yell out line changes instead of having to use the d-pad to do it. I think it would also add a touch of realism to the game as well.
Also, the two line pass rule is wrong again for the 50th year in a row.

That would be very cool to see! In addition to line changes, you could even yell out plays or patterns for your players to follow. Maybe there could be a practice mode, where you can set up plays, patterns, or positions ... and then assign them a voice command. Then you could use that command in game to have the players set up accordingly.
Also, the Offsides is messed up too. When all your players leave the Offensive zone and the puck is still there, it doesn't take the Offsides away like it should. That is quite annoying, because I'm not about to let someone break out and try to get an odd man rush on my goalie. So I steal the puck and take the whistle most of the time.

Actually, delayed offsides if the the NHL rule. What you're referring to is tag-up offsides, where offsides if waived off if all the players on the offending team vacate the zone.
The NHL hasn't used that in several years, but it's still used is some of the minor leagues.
