Major Flaw found in 2k4

My brother and I have found a really bad flaw in 2k4.It has happened twice so far but it's so bad that you might as well turn the game off and start over.

Now to the flaw:

It was 4th down and long and I was punting from my own 30 yard line.I punt the ball and it goes out of bounds at my OPPONENTS 7 yard line.During the punt there was a "roughing the kicker" penalty called so I get the ball back.....Now HERE is the FLAW.

Instead of giving me the ball back with the penalty yards walked off from my original line of scrimmage(my 30 yard line),it gave me the ball where the punt went out of bounds at my opponents 7 yard line!It gave me the ball first and GOAL to go when it should have walked off the penalty yards from the original line of scrimmage and placed me on my OWN 45 yard line.

It's as if the computer was treating the roughing the kicker penalty the same way it would a "pass interference" call.

Thats the first flaw.

The second one is similar in that it involves a penalty call also.Here goes:

My opponent kicks off to me and I run the ball out to MY OWN 25 Yard line where I get hit and FUMBLE.My opponent runs the fumble in for a Touchdown.Wait a minute,there's a penalty flag on the field.It's a "facemask" call AGAINST MY OPPONENT so I get the ball back.

I fumbled at MY OWN 25 yard line and thats where the face mask took place also,so I should get the ball back at MY OWN 40 after the 15 yard penalty is walked off,BUT,the computer gives me the ball at MY OPPONENTS 25 yard line instead!

It's as if the computer doesnt know which end of the field to place the ball.

I LOVE the 2k series(I have every version including all the previous ones on Dreamcast)and the gameplay with the 2k series is the best I've experienced,but this is a MAJOR FLAW that is crippling this game for me.

Has anyone else experienced this flaw?

P.S.This all happened in the "2-player-Multi-Player" Mode".

P.S.S. These are NOT Ball Spot Errors that can be challenged.

you wanna know something about a flaw in the game. Okay then here it is. Yesterday i was playing with the panthers against my bro. No stephen davis gets injured, and with a hair line fracture. So he out for the game, but guess what happens, he plays on the special teams, as a blocker. But i cant put he in the game. Now thats a flaw.

You know what. I have seen this flaw and it happened in a close game. It worked to my advantage however and I was winning the game by 4 points in the 4th, but I gave my opponent an oppurtunity to get out of the game without taking the loss by me quitting. But instead of chosing to agree to the quit and not give me the loss he would not agree. So i used the field position to get the win.

Never the less, if this would have happened to me I would have had a stroke.

And I have had players go down because of injury and had them play on special teams as well. I had Champ Bailey get injured in the first qtr only to have him return a short kickoff for a touchdown. But I could not get him back into the game. And my 3rd best corner was getting abused by Hines Ward.

Best flaw I have seen. Has happened twice to me. Probbaly 25% of the time. Rough kicker on extra point. Then the guy goes for two. Instead of getting 2 points he gets 6 more. Plus he goes for an extra point so that 13 points on one play. Good job Sega

fake punt =cheating

I dont know why but they always call roughing the kicker so anybody who trys this is going for the cheap penalty.
