Thats right I said it, They cost too much money besides its not like they look like thier counterparts anyway. How about full customization ??
Down to how much mustard is on your hotdog. Keep everything that made 2k5 great presentation, stadium music, crib, flesh this game out. Create a stadium, Create a player that rivals some of the top create a player games. Create a team fleshed keep the generic teams about 20 or you could erase them all and make your own league. But have a league built up with a history with stats , awards , made up facts etc
the skills and abilities keep the abilities but bring back the 0 - 99

Oh yeah, because it worked great for Blitz. They can't get rid of the legends, people want to control people they know. It's fun to see if you can use Tatum to stop Earl Campbell from scoring on the goal line, or if history repeats itself. No one cares if Scruby McScruberton runs over Whogives Acrap. If you take away the names football fans always talk about, you take away ANY interest in non-2K gamers they NEED to attract.

I'm with you! But I've always had the idea that they'd add more player emotion and personality to give their football game something no other football game has had.
Like certain players will be show boaters and trash talkers like T.O. on the field some can be the soul of the team type of leaders like Brian Dawkins or the humble type like Barry Sanders or the flashy showmen like Deion Sanders...and mixing these kinda players would actually affect the team. Also to showcase their personalities maybe show a pre-game with them briefly enter the build (maybe). But definitely have it in the postgame to where they pretty much play their role in the postgame interview if they were the key player.
Also, I think they should get Keith Olberman to do the post/pre-game, haftime and weekly wrap ups.

Actually, I lot of people found it to0 unrealistic with Legends one way or the other...and Legends didn't quite work for 2K8's favor either when came to bring in the money. Either people thought the Legends were too unrealistic because of the dominance they were shown in games. Our too unrealistic because they were a bunch of old timers and dead guys playing in 2008 all on the same field and people didn't wanna fantasy league with that much fantasy to try and keep it sim. At least thats the majority opinion I get from outside the 2K forum.

first things first 2k has to know that people want to play with the nfl teams point blank so they have to forget about the nfl completely and start from scratch. Build thier own and have the game so polished that you have to think of it while wondering if u want madden or this.
Get the euphora motion engine or whatever its called, keep the 2k gameplay/presentation production value and add some damn emotion in this game Create a player needs to be deeper then a porn stars ______

for real if they are going to take away the names they should just make it a NCAA game YOU can't make a successful PRO game W/O any PROS it just won't work it's 2k's move either stick with the legends or make it into a College game next year

just keep the legends and make them an option to play with.
