Ok, so I'm a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and I tried counting all of the Cowboys in this game. I found that you can create an entire team of Cowboys without using CAPS. I was wondering if any other teams have enough players to do this with. Please post your team. I've posted all of the Cowboys that I can think of. Sorry if I missed any.

Yeah in 2000, right before he retired.

February 15th, 2008, 08:46 AM
Yeah, I thought about not putting Randall on the list since most people don't remember him even on the team, but as long as he wore that star on his helmet...he's a Cowboy. Have you made any all-time teams????? (no CAPS)

Me? No I haven't. I thought about making a Raiders one though. Not sure if there would be enough for an all-time Giants team.

Well i had to use caps cause i am a Irvin and Sanders fan..

February 15th, 2008, 09:27 AM
I know what you mean...Irvin has always been my fav Cowboy receiver. I was seriously dissapointed that he wasn't on the game. As for Deion, he is possibly the best shut-down corner that I've ever seen.

There is enough for a Raider team.
I had one with
G- Jim Otto
G- Fred Bilitnekoff
S-Lester Hayes
S-Jack Tatum
S-Ken Stabler
B-Terry McDaniel
B-Rocket Ismail
B-Cliff Branch
B-Greg Bell
B-Willie Gault
B-Albert Lewis
There is also G-Mike Haynes I have put with this team and a couple Gold O-lineman
But you also have Todd Christienson, Jeff Hostetler, Otis Wilson, Brad Van Pelt, and a couple others I am forgetting.

February 15th, 2008, 09:33 AM
I've been thinking about it and I think you probably can put a Raiders team although I'm not sure that there is enough bronze tier players.
Gold:
Fred Biletnikoff
Marcus Allen
Willie Brown
Silver:
Jack Tatum
Ken Stabler
Chuck Bednarik
Bronze:
Terry Mcdaniel
Albert Lewis
Cliff Branch
That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but (1) i'm not a raiders fan and (2) I'm not even sure all of these are right. Some help is much appreciated.

thanks BrandH! Have you made any other teams?
BrandH
February 15th, 2008, 09:45 AM
I tried a Colt's team but there isn't enough to totally fill it. Also Chuck Bednarik did't play for the Raiders as far as I know unless it was at the vary end of his career. I forgot about Willie Brown. I haven't used that team in a while but he is on the Raider version I have right now. With him and Lester Hayes you can make a heck of a bump and run secondary.
The team I have now is
G-Jim Otto
G-Willie Brown
S-Stabler
S-Lester Hayes
S-Jack Tatum
B-Greg Bell
B-Rocket
B-Gualt
B-Branch
B-McDaniel
B-Lewis
Doomsday-D
February 15th, 2008, 09:56 AM
yeah sorry about Bednarik. I don't know why I thought he played for Raiders. Couple of ?s...do you usually have 3 legend corners and does that pay off for you? how close were you on the colts team? Oh and who did bednarik play for?

I tried using Stabler on my team once but I could never get used to playing with a left handed QB. I know, I'm weird...

Bednarik played for the Eagles.

I don't have the player list in front of me but I have created an all-Steelers team. Even got to put Chuck Noll in as ILB.
Doomsday-D
February 15th, 2008, 12:28 PM
Yeah, the only way to get out of 3 Offensive Lineman would be to have John Brodie as your qb and that kinda defeats the purpose of having an all-time Niners team. What about a Packers team...I know they have golds and silvers covered
Gold:
Reggie White
Willie Wood
Paul Hornung
Silver:
Nick Buoniconti
Leroy Butler
Bart Starr

Hey idesign2, post that Steelers team when you get a chance b/c I didn't think it was possible. I tried to make one and got frustrated after I realized that Bradshaw, Stallworth, Swann, Ham, Blount, and Greene weren't on the game. What did you come up with?

February 15th, 2008, 12:46 PM
I can't remember off the top of my head. Now that I think about it it's possible I fell a player or two short of a complete team. Here are the ones I think I included, though:
O'Donnell
Brister
Foster
Hoge
E. Green
Thigpen
D. Dawson
Noll
Lloyd
Lambert
Greenwood
Woodson
Not sure what the gold, silver and bronze breakdown was.

i know for sure that the Cowboys, Raiders, and Niners have enough people
I think only the Dolphins may be the one team that may have enough bronze players..not sure though
And the Packers do not have enough bronze players

Yes, I have a all-time Vikings team with Created players and 1972 uniforms. Actual heights and weights and realistic attributes. I did not use any player in the game, created all 11. Gold's restricted to D and only 3 attributes. To me, Gold CAP offensive players can be cheesey.

They definately have enough to make a very good Redskins team. I am not infront of my xbox right now so I cant list the players. But we have multiple Silver recievers, bronze recievers, Gold, Silver, and Bronze QB's, O Lineman. The only defensive player I can think of right now is Dexter Manley but he is awesome in this game. Maybe if I pick from the Giants pool and take the one year Leonard Marshall and Carl Banks, but I cant do that with a straight face.

I tired making an all Eagles team, but the squad blows. No CB or safety support will get you destroyed on defense.
My front 7 should be dominate with having all 4 linemen legends and a couple of LBs, but it's not nearly as dominate as their real life counter part was.
When Reggie, Brown and Simmons were together, they were one of it not the most dominate lines in the history of football. No offense had it easy in real life.

Although I've had him on one of my Steeler teams. Noll never played for Pittsburgh. I usually use him though. Since I don't like to use 2 QBs.
BTW for the record:
Woodson/Lambert
Greenwood/Lloyd/D.Dawson
Hoge/Thigpen/Brister
E.Green/Foster/O'Donnell

Yea, he was on my squad as well. But my team would still get destroyed in the passing game because I had no CB or safety support.
Legend d-linemen just don't do enough in this game. If I have 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze defenders on the line and you have nothing on the o-line, I should be dominate, but we all know it just doesnt work like that. Cause if I had 4 legend DBs and you had no legend WRs we all know how difficult passing would be.
I do understand why the d-line is toned down though, because we all remember how easy people could abuse the o-line in 2k4 & 2k5.
