Release an update to make APF 2k8 fully customizable right now!! Once people start creating their teams and playing this game online, others will start to gain interest and try it out, especially with 6 months to go. This would definitely do more damage, because the consumers are already upset with the deal and will have no other alternative but to get APF.

I doubt you guys who are looking for this "fully" customized game will get what you want.

If you do this it means the customer is able to design whatever he pleases and can upload it on to their servers.

We are talking whatever graphics and names.


This would more than likely change the rating of the game because of the infinite unknown possibilities of what a player will face.

There has to be limitations because of this and because the game uses commentary that would have to interpret names, etc...


I know people want to recreate the NFL, but I don't see it happening because that would create a lawsuit that would crush 2ksports.

Now if you are just talking about more logos, name variations, etc... then ok.
But once you go into that anything goes then you need to look at the end effect.


They got something good going now.
They just need to add to it with more advanced LOS options both DEF and OFF, tweak AI, tweak attributes to eliminate supermen players beyond realism gold or not, more game options especially in practice: 2 minute drill, if practicing a play with a shift then keep the shift in on each sequence and not just the first time you run it, 7 on 7, positions specific drills, etc...

Franchise with a nice scouting tool that is visual and not just based on numbers.
I don't know make the basic stuff just the written reports, but if you call them in then let us direct the drills so we can see it. This type of interaction is unheard of in any game.

Its should be possible in for a just for uniforms. Just add loads of team names. As long as you can only edit players names. It would be nice for them to go all out and create something very special.
