I do have one play in my playbook that might be cheese. I have never tried it in an online match but it is in my playbook. I have one play in the split back formation that has the HB pass. It is the only play since I removed everything else. I have subbed in my back up generic QB as the RB and my RB at FB. It has worked offline. I would probably only use it if I was losing big and just wanted to have fun or if I was winning big. Any problems with this?
Again I havn't ever used this play online.

Oh, you know people will have a problem with it. I probably wouldn't care because, it would be a little obvious if it was the only play you ran from that formation and seeing a QB in the HB position would probably tip me off to something.

If you actually used the formation for other thigns, and ran other plays, I wouldn't care.

I'm stealing that idea.
Wonder why no one thought of it earlier.

Definitely cheese.
It doesnt really work. I'm just gonna delete it out of the playbook. It was a stupid idea.

LOL.....thats good because then everyone would be doing it.
It kinda reminds me of the guys that would put Earl (pre-patch) Campbell @ QB and run QB sneaks with him....that was fun to deal with it.

Yea I was gunna say it would be cheese except for the fact that HB passes very very very rarely work in this game. Id say about 90% of the time the LB just snuffs out the play and tackles you in the backfield, 8% of the time you get the pass off but its incomplete, or picked off, and 2% of the time it actually works.
And the only time Ive ever seen the play work was when I went to my buddy's house and brought All Pro. He never played before, so he put it on rookie and played the cpu. It was like 3rd and 26, so the D went into a prevent type coverage, dropping back everyone and only rushing 4. He had Barry Sanders, and took the pitch, was hit in the backfield by Too Tall Jones, but Barry shrugged the tackle off, then he just threw it up to Willie Gault, who by then had found a hole in the D and completed it for a first down. Pretty lucky crap.
So no, Id say its not cheese ONLY because it doesnt work. If it ever worked with any kind of regularity, even like 20% of the time, then Id say it's chesse just cuz no team would put a TRUE QB at HB and run a play like that. Maybe if you had a Kordell Stewert (he played HB when he first came into the league) then you could run it, but there are no players like that in this game.

I would have no problem with it IF the system would properly report the substitutions.
It doesn't so it kinda gives an unfair advantage.
Other than that it doesn't bother me.
