Questions about repair patches for ESPN Football

Greetings to All,
I was just trying to find out if anyone knows the answers to the following questions:
1) When will the repair patches for espn football be available? (the ones they describe in their official FAQ on this board)
2) Will these repair patches be available for those of us without Xbox live? (Are they going to supply the patches on CD's or something?)

I believe it will only be available over XBox Live, because that's where all the technical glitches occur, you don't exactly have to worry about divergences vs the CPU. :D

But i'm not the official word, so I may be wrong.
