I've decided to put my Mick Cronin Dynasty to rest, I'll continue to play it but its getting kinda boring. I'd rather post a career legacy instead. So here it goes.......
Press Conference scheduled at 3pm for Charleston Southern University.
After the sudden firing of head coach Barclay Radebaugh, Charleston Southern University is expected to announce former Arizona Wildcats star Miles Simon as its head coach this afternoon. Simon was an assistant coach under Lute Olson at his alma mater for the past two seasons.
More to come in a little while.......

The Buccaneers are not finishing the way Coach Simon would like to. They currently sit at 0-4, and Simon is not at all pleased. This team is lacking something, and its probably team chemistry. During the first four games, the offense is not working. All the players seem to be hanging out at the 3 point area, and that equals no offensive rebounding. The team also gets beat in transition, a lot. The Buccaneers lost their first game by one point(46-45), after blowing a nine point lead with four minutes left to play. They lost their next game by two(67-65).
Then they played by far their biggest game on the schedule: at then#15 ranked Kentucky. The Buccaneers got off to an 11-4 start, but the wheels fell off quickly. Next thing you know, theyre down by 4. They got it back together and then had a mini 5-0 run to end the half, and they had a 38-34 lead. They played well during the first half of the second half. They had leads as big as seven points. At one point htey were up 53-46. A few minutes later the score was 63-57 in favor of the Wildcats. Costly turnovers led to a 67-62 loss. And an very upset coach.
They lost their next game to an 0-4 College of Charleston team, by 5.
Coach Simon has been impressed by the play of freshman PG jamarco Warren, who had 16 assists in the loss to Kentucky.

Charleston Southern finally got their first win: a two point victory over Mercer. Sinve that they've lost to Gardner Webb twice, and beat Stony Brook. But by far the biggets win was a 23 point victory at Sotuh Florida. Freshman Omar Carter, Jamarco Warren, and freshman sixth man Tovi Bailey have really stepped up lately.

The Bucs have really come a long way since their 0-4 start. The currently lead the conference, with a 5-2 record in the Big South. Their 5 game winning streak was snapped by a two game losing streak. Hopefully things get back on track soon. Coach Miles Simon believes this team could be headed to the NCAA tournament, although he didn't exactly say that. When asked on how good he thinks his team is, coach Simon responded," I think this team can go to the tournament. We handled the Kentucky game pretty well. Some analysts say that's because the Kentucky team hasn't gelled yet. But are team hadn't either. That's just a case of those folks on TV making excuses for bigger conference teams. We also have three wins against major conference teams, South Florida, Oregon State, and Penn State. Our schedule is a pretty tough schedule for a young team to handle, but they're doing a great job."
Recruiting:
The highest interest shown for CSU is 85% for a one star Center. I have my eye on 3 star SG Todd Langford, but his interest is only 71% and CSU is third on his list of schools.

ruh roh the dark side took over another person who started a closed legacy. When you get more into it can you tell us which one you like more...open or closed?
Good luck and don't worry about the record most of us didn't have a winning record the first year.

I finished the reguar season at 16-9(11-3 in the Big South) I got th number one seed in the conference tournament.
Bracketologists have CSU as a #13 seed in the tourney, assuming they win the conference tournamet, and their coach is 90% confident that they will make at least the NIT, but he isn't saying much else on all that postseason tournament stuff. " Right now we have to worry about [first round opponent] VMI in our league tournament. They have three prolific scorers in Reggie Williams and the Holmes twins [Chavis and Travis]. They may have the eight seed but they are tough."
When asked about what seed his team will get in the tournament Coach says,"We have to win our tournament to get into the field of 65, but first we have to beat VMI, If we win then that's for the committee to decide."

Coach Simon has done it. He has led his team to the NCAA Tournament. After winning the Big South Tournament the team finished 19-9 on the season. They earned a #12 seed and will play Indiana in the first round. It'll be tough for then to pull off an upset.

They did it! Charlestno Southern pulled off the biggest win in school history! A 13 point win over IU!
Eric Gordon could not make a shot, at all. IU kept shooting threes, hardly any went in.
Next up for the Buccaneers, Louisville, the fourth seed.
