Guide/Heat Check

Okay, I still have major problems playing this game because there is such a huge lack of any explanations. The manual doesn't have sh*t and I can't find a guide online, so if anybody can point me to a place that has a nice, extensive manual-style document, I'd be really appreciative.

One of the biggest issues so far is that I can call about 2 plays with the D pad, but after that, the button that brings up the play-calling screen only shows a retarded Heat Check thing that won't go away... Suggestions? Thanks.

try pressing the button in another direction maybe right

When using the d-pad your able to bring up different screens depending on direction and possesion of the rock. But to get rid of all screens when they do pop up, then just simply press the "b" button on the 360 adn i believe its the circle button the PS3. So you can bring up heat check, substitutions, defensive matchups and cancel those screens one by one is with that one button.
