This guy does not exist, yet there he is in my game as a gold star CB. Anybody know what's the deal?

He was Mike Haynes when the game 1st came out and then the update took him out and put a Generic player in as him named mark Smith. I don't know why they removed Haynes from the game. Maybe he wanted more money.

Wow, thanks for the quick response!
Why not just remove that player completely?
And why change his stats to Detroit?
Seems like extra pointless work to create a pointless player.
One last thing...why not actually update the game for things that are really needed like online league weather?

wow, I didn't know he was generic, didn't really pay attention... but he's the best Cover corner on the game to me, not complete, but best coverage. I would guess they just needed to fill the void of Haynes leaving...

Could have just been a bug with the patch too. I mean, is he still on the PS3 version? If he's on the PS3 version, then odds are the loss of Haynes and the addition of Mark Smith did not occur intentionally.

He is a no name player..He has not very good abilites..Just returner and I think he has coverage bonus..

He is awsome at returns and decent at coverage. I have seen him get knocked on his behind by a bump buster Wide Reciever.

Weather factor was in 2K5 but it caused a lot of lag in games so I am assuming that is why it is not in APF2K8

I tried him right after the patch came out and i don't care what anyone says...definitely is capable of alot of production. He's a major threat returning ints for td's. His charged spin is deadly. He might not be the best....but for the value and a level up from lem barney he is.
