Not workhorse, atleast at this point in his career. He splits carries with Chester Taylor, and in my opinion a workhorse is someone with 25+ carries a game.

Ginn was the number one threat on offense after Ronnie Brown went down and Chambers was traded away. And he is the return specialist. Booker is gone...can you name another receiver on the Dolphins? Ginn is the only GAMEBREAKER left on the team that isnt named Ronnie Brown. If you take away Booker (who is no longer with the team) Ginn has the highest totals in all receiving statistics out of wide receivers last season...he will be the number one wideout this year.

Joey Porter was second in tackles this year for the Dolphins as well as sacks.

Star Levels should be on a TEAM BY TEAM basis. That is to say, the Dolphins stars are few and far between.

I've done my research, and watched my fair share of the Dolphins last year. What would your team be?

I mean not even, I'd say Taylor and Brown are legitimate Gold Stars.

My point is that some teams have more players to choose from while others have fewer all-pro players. The Cowboys are a perefect example...

You could argue Gold Stars for the cowboys...Terrell Owens, Jason Witten, DeMarcus Ware, Tony Romo with a handful of Silver Star players mixed in with the players that don't make the Gold Cut...Terrence Newman, Roy Williams, Marion Barber...and then you factor in the offensive lineman.

Then you have teams like the Dolphins, who really don't have a legitimate 11 star worthy players. Do I think 420 receiving yards and two touchdowns is a legitimate cause for the title of second tier talent in the NFL? Absolutely not. But when you factor in what the Dolphins have to offer, and what Ted Ginn means to that team in terms of explosiveness (he is the sole piece of TNT) I have no problem giving JR. a Silver star.

Yes and no on the beast part early in season he didn't really play like a gold with branching tackles. Then after Sharper went down he's seemed stronger and faster, it might just be in my mind but maybe when Sharper went down he's picked up his play like he has to carry the team more since I only have one gold.
For example the first play after Sharper got hurt, he slipped out a bronze lb, then trucked a saftey and out ran Polumao for a 60 some yard TD. Then recently he's been running harder.
Really the most realistic Peterson from what I seen of all his college games and 8 NFL games I've seen of him is this.
Speed Burner (sub 4.4 speed)
Break Away Burst (has a second gear when he hits the hole)
Cut Back Ability (Cuts back with ease)
Battering Ram (He refuse to go out of bounds and will throw his body at defenders)
Branching Tackles (No sissy arm tackle will bring him down)

But I doubt you can convice manning to add on break away burst cause I couldn't last year.

I go to all the Skins games, so I think I can give a fair assessment.
1)Santana Moss is not a silver, and giving him soft hands is like giving Tom Brady speed burner. He has bricks for hands. He should be a bronze with speed burner.
2)Jason Campbell is a bronze with rocket arm, and cannot be a silver or have laser.
3)Andre Carter should be a bronze with Sack Master and Pass Rush.
4)Fred Smoot should have speed burner, not coverage.
5)You could move Landry up to Silver with Closing Speed and either Footsteps or Run Coverage.

He fumbled 13 times, and had a sub 80 passer rating... I think that there are more qualified silvers on your team. If you want a solid QB, get Campball @ rocket arm, and an OL with stonewall.

Im not a Skins fan but I do watch a lot of football and the NFL Network. When smoot was coming out of college the only reason he didn't go higher in the draft was because of his lack of speed. Maybe quick feet.

Leftwich has been cut also...and Turner is one of the fastest backs in the league hence the nickname Michael "Burner" Turner.

Also, Smoot has great hands. He's the alltime interception leader in Skins Franchise history. Just something to keep in mind...

In the playoffs he didn't even have over 100 yds in a game or a TD when filling in for LT in the 3 postseason games. At the midway point running backs like Larry Johnson (above) are running wild.
Many story lines are abounding in the XFL but the biggest story might be about the many talented running backs that are in the XFL. First there’s the punishing Larry Johnson who is already over 2000 yards and has 26 Touchdowns with 3 games left. He leads a strong Chief team that at times is handicapped but terrible QB play but is still near the top of the league with a 9-4 record.

But LJ isn’t alone in great running back play with Fred Taylor (above proving to be a dual threat on the ground and in the air with over 23 totals touchdowns and over 1,700 total yards. He’s also not even half way though their season. But a team effort has propelled the defending Jags to a 6-1 record. Unlike last season the Jags aren’t undefeated because the Panthers tripped them thanks to the great play of Star WR Steve Smith. The Panthers are off to a 2-0 start so it’s difficult at this time to project their ending.

Another great running back resides in Minnesota with Adrian All Day Peterson (above) carrying a poor offensive team to a .500 record while teams are keying on him. Peterson is currently on place for 2,500 yards and 32 touchdowns. But two other teams carry are prime contenders as well.

The Oakland Raiders have come in like the Autumn Wind to a 6-3 record. Justin “Huggy Bear” Fargas (above) leads the raiders with over a 1,000 yards rushing and 13 touchdowns.
Then the Titans have overcome adversity with the injury to their starting QB, Vince Young but Lendale White has carried the load with 880 yards and 15 touchdowns. The rest of the teams have either not played enough games to factor into the race at this point or are in the giant log jam around the .500 mark.

Rivers is a silver. I don't have to make him a bronze, he had a solid year.

I certainly didn't force you to make him a bronze, especially after his pro bowl selection.

Jamal had 32 solo tackles, one FF.

Henderson has 28, 2 sacks, 1 FF - he's a gold.

Tommie Harris had 31, 8 sacks - he's a gold.

So Jamal isn't a pass rusher. He's a better run stuffer, which is why he's a gold w/o pass rush or sack master. Have you watched the Chargers play? He stuffs holes, draws double teams, and has a powerful reach tackle. He's easily a top 5 DT.

Jamal Williams is definitely a gold. Stats don't always tell how good a player is, especially for 3-4 D-linemen. Their job is to take up the O-line for the LBs to run free. I can definitely say that Jamal did that, and did it amazingly well (except against the Vikings O-line).

...Are you kidding me? When did I say that stats are the only factor and that's what I'm using for team validation? In fact, I'm the one who thinks Cromartie isn't a gold despite his 10 interceptions. I'm the one who thinks Williams is a gold, despite his "poor numbers". He's a NT in a 3-4 scheme. He's not expected to get sacks. He stuffs the run, and does it very, very well.

I just don't understand defenses in this game.

I've played people who use the 3-3 and 3-2, and sucessfully stop my power running game. (Not in this league)

I just don't get it, its like the 3-3 and 3-2 stop the run better than the 3-4? :confused:

Jerious Norwoods no way in hell deserves Finesse and Power or Branching Tackles. He should have three of the following:speed, quick, breakaway, cutback, or finesse. And Deangelo Hall really isn't that great at covering, he can just run like blazes.

I think that quick feet or possession reciever or finesse would suit both of them better.

You could make Walker a silver I think cause he had 230 yds on 20 catches in the first 3 games of the season but then he got injured from week 4-11 and when he came back they didn't use him much since Brandon Marshall had broken out by then.
