i was playing a guy who was ranked like 46 or something on the ps3 and he was winning till the fourth i scored a touchdown which made the score 20-24 with 2minutes left then all the sudden the black screen comes up saying "waiting for a opponent" then counted all the way down and it was counted as a dropped game for me. im am ****ed off i am wondering did i really loose connection myself or did he have some kind of hack or soemthing? also my players seemed to run slower in this game and didnt break as many tackles

Well I know the patch for XBox 360 fixed all the freeze glitches on XBL. I am also pretty sure there has been no patch for PS3 so yeah he probably was able to freeze you somehow.

On PS3 there have been alot of dropped games recently. I've had four games in the last coupla days where the game has just dropped, and my opponent would have got the "Waiting for opponent" and the countdown.
This could have been what happened, or simply your opponent turned off their system and broke the connection.
To be honest, the repeat offenders have poor feedback so shouldn't be hard to spot. If your opponent had 85% feedback I would give him the benefit of the doubt.

But when a game drops like that, aren't you unable to rate your opponent? So how would his feedback be affected?

If he loses connection you can still rate them. If you lose connection you cannot rate them.

Aye, thats about it. A game dropped this morning, everyone ended up back in the lobby saying "wtf?"

I played a game this morning were as soon as the guy got the go ahead td...the game dropped. I gave my review and then when I got back to the lobbies I got the disconnect but the guy I played wasn't able to give a feedback....sounds kinda funny to me!
