He will be missed...
A true legend of the game, and the best personality in many years.

I'd say:
Tough as Nails ( x2 if it were possible)
Rocket Arm
QB Evade

He will be missed, his personality made him even better than average hall of famer. At least we don't have to hear "is he retiring this year?" ALL off-season.
I created a CAP for him once,
Rocket Arm
Clutch
Scrambler
And I would add Tough as Nails and Leadership if I could give him 5

I'd throw Leadership on top of that, Numbski (his charisma! :))
Also maybe finesse and power and break away burst...... kidding

I think you're right about leadership. Favre isn't a scrambler so much as he is elusive. He's not looking to run the ball, he just evades sacks VERY well. Then again, he's good at throwing on the run...which the Scrambler ability gives. Dunno. I think this game lets pretty much ANY Gold QB throw on the run, so QB Evade is more appropriate.
So:
Tough as Nails
Rocket Arm
QB Evade
Clutch
Leadership
You think?

Ah - now this raises some other questions. I don't think Laser Arm fits. I'm not saying he's inaccurate, I just mean that it's not his trademark. He's known for his arm strength, not squeezing the ball into tight spots (that's more of a Marc Bulger/Kurt Warner (y2k) type thing).
Durability Bonus instead of Tough as Nails....how about combined with?
Rocket Arm
Tough as Nails
Durability Bonus
Clutch
Leadership
You lose QB Evade though. :\ I still contend that Favre isn't a scrambler, just good at evading sacks.
The things you immediately think of when you hear Brett Favre:
He just doesn't get injured, or he keeps playing hurt (Tough as Nails/Durability).
He breaks receivers fingers, or jams them (Rocket Arm).
He's excellent under pressure.
Leadership ability - I have to be fair, I've not followed Favre THAT closely. Does his mere presence make rookies and other young players do better? After this last season I'd say yes, but beyond this last season?

It would be great if APF picked up Favre for this coming year.....
throw him on the cover......;)

Look good Numbski, but I'd probably give him 4th Quarter Comeback over Clutch. Doesn't he hold the record for 4th Quarter Comebacks?

Even though Brett was tough as nails, that ability doesn't fit him. That ability is for QBs who didn't care if or how often the pocket collapsed. When Farve's pocket collapsed, he took off running. I'd say:
Durability
Rocket Arm
4th Quarter Comeback
Leadership
Scrambler

1.) I agree with 4th Qtr comeback over clutch. He was really only clutch that one superbowl season.
2.) Nothing wrong if you give him laser arm. Yes he was inaccurate at times, but it was because he did try to squeeze the ball in there too much.. just decision making was poor at times. When he made the smart throws, he was as accurate as there is.
3.) Quick Release - Can't believe no one's mentioned this. He has a super fast release when he needs to.

Durability
Rocket Arm
4th Quarter Comeback
Leadership
Scrambler
I agree with these too..
Bottom Line: 5 abilities isn't enough for Brett

I can't think of another QB that exemplifies Leadership more than Favre. He's been the leader in Green Bay for years, for the team and the fans.
Durability - 17 years - started every game - league record
Rocket Arm - One of the hardest throws (broke guys fingers!)
4th Quarter Comeback - Holds League record
Leadership - He's the face of the packers, and exemplifies leadership
Tough as Nails = Tough under pressure, not phased by sacks.
Scrambler = Talented at throwing the ball outside of the pocket.
Which really describes Favre best? I'd have to go with Tough as Nails, not to say he doesn't scramble, but he definitely takes a beating and can still bring his A game.

Rocket Arm
Durability Bonus
Tough As Nails
4th Quarter Comeback

OMG I've been saying this since the game was released. Should've been Jerry Rice 2K8. Now that Favre's no longer in the NFL, scrap the Rice idea. Favre 2K9 would sell at least double APF 2K9 just off the name alone.
One idiot said "I like All-Pro Football"... really?? Well, he's the only one considering the 10,000 copies it sold.

10,000? Maybe for PS3... It sold close to or more than 200,000 for 360, which aint bad at all...
Also, about my Favre CAP earlier, I think if they do sign him for 2k9, he should NOTICEABLY have the strongest arm in the game.

Rocket Arm
Durability Bonus - True. But what are the chances of injury in 2K8?
Tough As Nails - True. But a Gold QB with 5 attributes doesn't need to get better after sack.
4th Quarter Comeback - True. But only makes him better when losing in the 4th. Why not make him good all the time?
Leadership Bonus
No doubt those are Favre's top 5 attributes. But if you guys really want a CAP who actually PLAYS like Favre did on the field, I highly recommend not picking the "words" that best describe him. See my notes above.
Pick things that will let you come out and straight up sling it:
1.) Rocket arm
2.) Scrambler
3.) Quick Release
4.) Laser arm (I believe Favre was deadly accurate most of the time, when he didn't force things)
5.) Pocket Presence
Favre was great with a 3 step quick release and a 7 step, see nothing and scramble. If you want to actually go online and rock people on the field like favre did, I recommend these.

Was being sarcastic. I was implying the game did not sell well.

My problem with giving Favre Laser Arm is that he holds the record for most INTs thrown ever. It's hard to justify giving him an accuracy ability when his passes ended up in opponents hands more than anyone else's ever did.

Laser Arm means top notch accuracy.
Did Brett have top notch accuracy?
If you were making him as a CAP, then Laser arm = accurate
If 2k put him in next year, then Laser arm = not too accurate

You can't give a created QB tough as nails :( I agree about the Laser Arm. I put that because he is better than Marino who has that ability. His attributes should be....
Leadership Bonus
Durability Bonus
Clutch
Rocket Arm
Pocket Presence
In my league though I would replace Durability because I have Injuries off.

Alright here's my take....
Brett Favre if I made a CAP
Rocket Arm
Clutch (4th QT. Comeback isn't necessary when you have this)
Leadership Bonus
Pocket Presence
Scrambler
Brett Favre as a Legend
Rocket Arm
Leadership Bonus
Tough as Nails
Clutch
Scrambler (see highlights of all the just made up throws he's had over the years)

That alone would sell a copy for every man, woman, and child in Wisconsin.

They should make a platinum tier, strictly for the 2 best at every position and you only get one on your team and Brett should be in that tier with 7 abilities.
Rocket Arm
Leadership
4th Quarter Comeback
Quick Release
Durability
Scrambler
Tough As Nails

I have watched Brett Favre for my entire life. He is my all-time favorite player, and as most of you know, the Packers are my favorite team.
Rocket Arm
Leadership
Tough As Nails
4th Quarter Comeback
Scrambler (The Scrambler ability allows you to throw the ball on the run, it doesn't necessarily mean he should be running out of the pocket constantly)

There were tons of great QB's but they dont have their own nfl network program or constant espn coverage..oh well..
