OK. At first there will be no arrows. You can do freethrow routines by moving the sticks. Left stick up to point left finger up, right for right. Both sticks up to toss the ball up or whatever. Move left stick down to dribble with left, right stick for right (or just press on the sticks to dribble in order to save moving sticks down for other routines). You can also do combinations like one stick up while the other right, both in, both out, etc for other routines.

When you are done with your routines, press and hold the trigger to display the arrows. The ready-to-shoot animation kicks in. The arrows will be pointing out as usual, BUT also lower than usual. You would then push the sticks in like before, AND move the sticks up or down to aim for distance. That means you not only aim left and right, but far and close also to avoid a short or long shot. The arrows will point at the backboard if you’re shooting too hard or at the net if you’re shooting too soft. When the arrows line up and point in the basket, RELEASE the trigger and you will release the ball. This freethrow will move away from the traditional “pressing buttons to shoot” and will possibly give it a more authentic feel.

IsoMotion freethrow may not be very important, but +1 to coolness factor 8) . It would be cool to see people do this online. You may even get comfortable doing certain routines for certain players, especially your 24/7 guy :D . Like in real life, some people can’t shoot unless they do their routines first.

Sounds pretty tedious though.
