I have about 50 hits up the middle, but nothin has gotten through the holes. They seem to get everything! Frustrating.

I have only played like 7-8 games so far and didn't notice it until you just said it. They dive and get everything and it never is outta reach. Nothing gets thru unless it goes up the middle!

Hits are definately more up the middle but i think that is due to people not directing their hits properly. I know I don't.
I had been playing MVP 05 for the last couple of weeks before getting this and 90% of my groundball hits went up the middle in that game too.

I've managed to get hits through the holes in the infield.
My guess is you're just hitting them where they are.

You gotta really smoke em threw the holes aRod had a couple today and Abreau get on elike every game.
My problem is the infielders tend to miss easy grounders alot.

I completely agree with this post. I can only get hits up the middle. I have played 10 games and I have yet to exceed more than four runs. I am the White Sox and they have a very good lineup so I don't understand. It seems like the only time I can score runs is when I hit homeruns. I like this game, but I don't know if I like the new swing stick at all.

Maybe reduce the AI Infielder Speed? Reducing aggressiveness might also help seeing as they tend to dive a lot. I'm with you though; I can barely ever get a hit on the ground, and really, you're supposed to get more on the ground than in the air. It's just how baseball is. I'm actually getting annoyed when I hit home runs now because I'd rather get a single and can't.

yeah, same here. i reduced the ai infielder reaction time and speed drastically to make it more realistic and it helped quite a bit.

While it's true that most runs come off homers, this game has much more diverse hits. For example, you can actually hit it down the line. Also, I get occasional bloopers over the infielders, even when they do that vertical jump thing.
