Duke Off To Hot Start
I have just got off to a great start to my second season heading into conference play with a 10-2 record with tough road losses to ucla and tennessee. I'm currently 3 in the polls. I'm expecting us to take the acc by storm this year as it is a down year in the acc the only team that has ratings anywhere near mine is unc and i only play them once.

my current starters are
pg-greg paulus 16 ppg 4 apg
sg- jon scheyer 12 ppg
sf- gerald henderson 10 ppg 4 rpg
pf- kyle singler 11 ppg 5 rpg 3 apg

I have also signed by 2 top targets for next year
a 5 star point guard that is #1 pg and #4 overall
and a 4 star power forward that is #21 pf and #59 overall

everyone sees 15 seed and automatically thinks they're terrible

I have Duke going to the National Championship game and losing to Kansas and I am certainly cheering for them to win it all, being a Duke fan, but they will have to play better than they did tonight to accomplish that feat or anything near it.

they have quick, athletic guards which usually give duke trouble
and they have kevin love to add to it

ACC Tournament Nearing
duke has just completed conference play with a 15-1 record in the conference with the only loss coming at clemson. the conference tournament is upcoming. duke now holds the number 1 ranking in both polls and is projected to be the number 1 overall seed in a very weak bracket according to bracketology. as of late taylor king has really stepped up his game off the bench averaging about 12 ppg in the last 10 games

After Winning ACC Tournament Easily, Duke Bounced In Nat'l Semis

memphis proved too tough for duke as they lost in a close game to the national champion tigers. every duke player played their role in the game, but the ball just didnt bounce the blue devil's way this time. greg paulus, david mcclure, and jordan davidson will be leaving the team this year, with lance thomas unsure about whether or not he will leave the team.

the way the blue devils played this year is a serious confidence boost for duke fans considering that next years team will be even better than this years with the addition of the new recruits.

duke is now looking forward to next year and have their eyes set on the championship

with tough wins against the likes of texas and at usc, duke has remained number one in both polls as they have been all year long, but upcoming games against memphis and michigan state will once again test duke.

That was an embarrassing performance by Syracuse. It seems like it is getting pretty normal for them to blow huge leads, first against Pittsburgh and then against UMass. They really don't have any argument for not being in the NCAA Tournament, either, IMO, because if you can't get to the NIT Final Four, you did not deserve to be in the Big Dance.

I agree. If you can't keep a 20+ point lead against a team then you don't deserve it. I remember a couple years ago when syracuse pulled upset city to win the big east tournament (kind of like Pitt did) and got into the NCAA. They then lost the first round, so I'm not 100% upset they didn't get into the ncaa. I was actually pulling for them to get to the final four of the NIT.
