Is there a difference in how these are earned? Sorry of this has been posted previously, but I was unable to find it going 15 pages back. I was under the impression that the better game you had with the player while achieving the objective, the better shot you had at getting the next level(i.e. Mulder's is Win a game with him. I threw a 2 hit shutout and received the platinum. Did virtually the same thing... another platinum. Now with Pujols, his is get 5 Rbi. I got 7 Rbi while getting 2 homers and only rcvd the black card. so I am starting to think this is by chance. can anyone confirm this? thanks

The higher the difficulty the more likely you are to get a better card. I believe on Rookie it is 95% chance black, 4% chance gold, and only a 1% chance platinum. Where as Legend is a 50% chance black, 35% chance gold, and 15% chance platinum. I think those are right but they might not be. Hope this helps!

yeah, its all in your difficulty mode
65% chance of Black
15% - Gold
10% Platinum
for pro
the black goes down and the gold and platinum chances go up as you set your difficulty up to All-star and Legendary modes.
but if you tweek sliders after selecting difficulty, you will go back to the pro default percentages

yeah that is very true, you start getting cards for scoring runs, stealing bases and even making over the rail catches much more frequently..I think I even got a card for getting a base hit in a game...that was weird
