Shud I adjust my sliders?

Ok i have had MLB 2K8 for about a week now, and I am very familiar with controls and think of myself quite good. I havnt touched my sliders yet, and I play on All-Star. I see high scores from the other team once i get in my bull pen in seventh inning. Once I go to my bullpen i go from a 5-10 run lead to a "nailbitter" in the ninth inning. I usually pull away but it gets scary sometimes. I have adjusted my batting to the stupid AI pitching. The AI does throw balls but never 4. I never look to walk, just my mentallity. But I find my self swinging withing the first 1-3 pitches. I have yet to try ledgendary, I think i could handle it since i win 50% of my All-Star games. But shud i try adjusting my slider, to make the batting aspect more realistic. I have copied the pokers for life sliders, but have yet to apply them. I am kinda scared to adjust the sliders. will i be able to adjust back to default? What do you think i shud do? go for it and adjust them? or keep it like it is and suck it up? Or shud i just get a better bull pen, but my bull pen avg rating is 80, including CL Billy Wagner! What shud i do?

if u change ur sliders u can change them back by jus changing the difficulty and it will reset

Alright, I will in the morning, I just dont want to make it EASIER but realistic and challenging. I am just tired of getting a 6 run lead by the 7th inning then putting a rated 85 relief pitcher or even B. WAgner and getting ripped making it a tight ball game. I thought it was my BP (bullpen) but i looked at the ratings and i was suprised. I hope the sliders work. I am 4 achievements from getting 1000/1000

Achievements needed-
No hitter
Strike out the side (i have no clue why i can not get this one seem simple)
Allow no home runs in 1 game (Seems easy but i lose it in later stages of the game)
GET A DAMN WALK (stupid AI pitching)
hopefully sliders will fix all my problems.
