I have noticed an issue that nobody seems to have mentioned (Maybe its not that common?) but I figure its worth mentioning. This issue has happened to me on more than 3 occasions already. Sometimes player's will do a "Teleportation(or warping, however you want to phrase it) " from one place to the other. It happened to me on a ground ball that was hit to my second baseman. To summarize, there was a runner on second heading to third on a ground ball that was hit to my second baseman. My 3rd baseman was clearly OFF the bag at 3rd prior to the ground ball being hit, so once I recovered the ball with my second baseman and I fired a strong throw over to third to catch the runner, my 3rd baseman LITERALLY dissapeared and reapearred over on the bag at 3rd ergo(rather than run to the base while I set up the play for him) "Teleportation". As I stated this has happened to me on over 3 occasions already and they were NOT limited to plays on 3rd base, but it has also happend to me on plays at first and line drives to the outfield as well so my question is, has anyone else here experienced their players "Teleporting" from one place to the other? It may not be a common problem or something that can even be recreated but as I said I figured it was worth mentioning..

I have seen this and it really isn't that common. However, it's like the game doesn't want to perform a glitch by causing a glitch. Strange huh? It's a technical issue for sure and mainly done when throwing to a base that no one is currently at.

Thats probably the best way to describe it, the game remedies a glitch with a glitch and it indeed does happen mostly when throwing to an empty base which I honestly hadnt realized till u pointed it out. Thanks for the reply, figured it wasnt common.

Yes I have seen that and I am sure everyone has seen that while playing franchise offline. We will just have to wait and see if the patch corrects this issue. It also occurs in the dugout. They show a shot of some players sitting on the bench and then all of the sudden the manager appears in the middle of the picture.

It happened to me twice, only it was when the pitcher covers first. Didn't say much cause it helped me out.

Interesting....Good to know there are people other than myself experiencing this...Ronnie said he would report and/or look into this issue if there is enough feedback on it. so I advise anyone who has experienced this issue to post here and let others know as It will increase the probability of it being fixed later on down the road.

Well I am at work and I am bored so I figured I would take the liberty of searching for other people around the internet who have experienced this problem and post a quote from them stating so as well as a link to the site/forum that I got the quote from. I figure that it shouldnt matter if the person experiencing/reporting the issue is from another forum as it's irrelevant.

Then there are a few glitches here and there. When the pitcher runs to cover first, he will often just warp from the edge of the mound onto the base. Its always been on plays where I would have been out anyway, but its still just an ugly flaw. I guess thats it for my review. Overall, I really enjoy this game. Its not perfect, but its a hell of a good time if you're a baseball fan and a gamer.

when you hit a grounder to the first baseman and he has to toss it to the pitcher running to cover first.. it looks like you are gonna beat it out because the you have the pitcher beat in the footrace, but the pitcher magically teleports to first base and gets you out

Today I was playing on legend difficulty trying to get the Ichiro platinum card ( 4 base hits in a game) and i already had 3 hits in the bottom of the ninth. I got a ground ball to the first baseman. I had the pitcher and the 1st baseman beaten easily to first but then the pitcher like teleported to 1st base and the 1st baseman threw it to him and got me out so i didnt get the card

I've had this happen once. But I've had numerous similar fielding situations where the pitcher didn't magically teleport to 1b.

I generally don't like to bump threads but if anyone else is experiencing this issue please post it here.

I had the pitcher thing happen two or three times against me. They're really fun to watch in an instant replay: everything is normal then, suddenly, the pitcher (one the grass between the mound and first) freezes and slides at warp speed across to the first base bag at something approaching light speed. He catches the ball, you're out, next batter.
Unfortunately, there is no button for 'immediately test this player for steriods' in the game, otherwise I'd been all over that.

I have had this problem happen more times than I could count. It always seems to happen with the pitcher covering first base. However a few times on balls hit up the middle my SS or 2B are nowhere to be found. I am using the aerial camera so you think even if they couldn't make it to the ball you would still see them but they are not there at all.
