What player or players just always seem to dominate your team?
For me I hate when I have to play against Earl. But the most brutal beating I've gotten was with a nasty stick skilled player controlling Gale If he didn't run the kickoff or punt to the house he would just hit home run after home run on me.
My defense is speedy and has efficient tacklers to slow down the speed backs, but Earl just plows over my defense.
I can normally contain a gold WR with my DBs, but sometimes gold TEs can be a hand full.

yeah their are certian people who no matter who they use and how my defence is stacked up i just get a feeling of helplessness on defence against them. i'll shut down earl one game and have natron means blow me up the next game against the same game plan. i just dont have it down yet. but i would have to say that the gold te's scare me the most... usally because they have a soild pair of wrs to go to, and to move a cb over to cover them means that they get destroyed in run blocking and also is a dead give away to when im in a zone because they will go back out to cb position when that happens.

Got to go with Derrick Thomas....coughNephariouscough........ Just because he cause havoc in my running game and then covers the middle of the field well because of his speed.
On offense, it is always Gold QB and Jerry Rice. You know he is gonna get his catches and big plays. I have a decent secondary but if you don't have help over the top on one play, it could always be a TD for Rice.

I hate Jerry Rice and Don Maynard.
Also, a good Cunningham user can make life miserable.

Earl is still the biggest problem because he just runs over players too easily. I have a team specifically built to stop the run, and if I don't use it against Earl, I could be in for a long game. At least with the receivers, players have to put the ball in the air so there is some level of risk vs. reward. The risk vs. reward is much lower with running backs.

Any Gold TE.
And that's the reason I have Shannon Sharpe on my team.

Created Gold HB and WR's are the biggest problem for me. You can give them certain Combination’s of attributes that make them nearly unstoppable. As for the players on the game I would say Shannon Sharpe or Ditka give me the most problems but that’s mainly against noobs who know they can just throw it to him regardless of the coverage and walk away with a catch. That's more annoying than anything to me. Earl is pretty easy IMO. All you ahve to do is flick the right stick down and hit him low. I like to awlays have Joey Browner at safety though to help out against Gold backs.

I'd say created CAP's with unrealistic size and height coupled w/ uncharateristic skills ie: 6'6 350lbs.....Speedburmer and so on. Other than that I don't really care who I face.

I'm with you there - I use Wilcox as my primary defender, and he can wreak havoc at just about any point on the field.
awesome

Numbski I'm pretty sure he was kidding and talking about that 'Loading' scene with Wilcox where it calls him The Intimidator...

The best LB in this game is my CAP Cornelius Bennett Gold OLB. I have him in my league and he stays step for step with any TE and thrashes RB's. My last game he had 1 sack, 2 INT's and both were crazy. 1 INT he covered Metz on an inside post step for step and than jumped up in front of him and took it and the other was my opponent was at the 3 yard line and I picked a 5-2 low zone and he jumped really high to take the ball and kill his drive. Not even mentioning his tackles he had.
The best player in this game that is not a CAP for me is on defense there are 2. Willie Brown and Dave Wilcox. On offense Sharpe, Coats, Ditka, Christiansen, Metz.
