#1). BoFa Deez 3- Toughest player online for me PERIOD... not even close. He plays SIM 100%... I don't care what the score is... he plays the same way everytime... Deadly running game, whether its Earl Campbell(LOL BoFa*insider*) or Billy Sims... he will keep you guessing also with Herman Moore and D. Clark at WR...

#2) Valderez- Probaly the best Pass D without playing Bump 2 Man all game with created corners, I've seen in my time since release. Nice passing game, decent running game(I hate his motion running), but still manages to tear it up with Bronze RB Freeman McNeil. Don't let his record fool you, he is much better than his 110+-15 record LOL!!!

#3) Freak of Satan- We have had more overtime games in 2 months than the NFL has had in 30+ years. 4 2OT games, and about ton of OT games, he mixes up the run and pass well, not as good as BoFa or Vald(no offense FoS). Good on D, mixes up well controlling FS, SS, or any LB on the field. Anyone should play him if you are looking for a good challenge.

#4) FLAWxLESS- We have had tons of great games, but these last 2 months he has stepped it up tremendously. Good Passing game and Nice Defense, this guy will keep you guessing at ALL times.

#5) Jag- Im pretty sure many of you have NEVER heard of him, and you probaly won't considering considering he has traded his game in :(... has the MOST DEADLY passing attack I have EVER seen in 2k8.... get pass rushers or he will light you up... understands REAL time situations in REAL life football, which makes his Defense stout... if he still had th e game I would recommend him to EVERYONE online... but he no longer has the game.

I played Lanky and Bofa last night for the first time. Was my first time in the Legend Lobby too....

I would have to agree, both play straight up sim ball with no questionable/glitchy plays and both are extremely good. I could not do anything with Bofa, killer running game and then when you stack up, over the top to the 1 on 1 coverage. I would still rather play them and lose then waste an hour with a cheesy/glitchy player.

I never turn down challenges due to rank and never quit, no matter how cheesy the opponent plays.

Every game we have is like a heavy weight bout. It seems no matter the score throughout the first three quarters, that the winner is not determined until the end of the game. You are a very tough opponent that has a different style of play everytime we play so it is hard to pinpoint what your going to do. Definitely one of my toughest opponents.

I see alot of great players listed and posting in this thread. You have to have your "A" game to be able to pull out a win against any of them. On top of that, you have to play the entire 20 minutes of the game to even stand a chance at winning the game. One slip up and you can add another one in the Loss column.

I appreciate you putting me in your top 3 but not a long with those 2 guys. All emoy does is throw corners if your in zone and screens when you pick man. EVERY PLAY. What he does is the easiest thing in the world because he used 2 route god WR. Man or zone won't cover his corners. He just does all the way down the field.

I actually made a team just like his just to try it. Ask Bofa. You can't stop it. We were both trying to figure it out. There is nothing you can do to stop what he does with the guys he uses. Before i started playing lobby games i kept a second team like his just to cheese the cheesers. I beat Ice Thor Zues 55-21 with them.

Pick a Double Crash play from the 3-3, man up both CBs on his WRs, shift back and wide, then man up the A OLB and the Nickle back on the HB, hot zone the X LB deep, and manually control the Y OLB to cover the screen.

I had a player try this "strategy" against me in a league game and this shut it down. 2 INTs, I won 28-10 and he scored his TD with about 1 minute left in the game.

This also makes them guess which play to call because it is not man or zone, it is a combo. I have always said that if you can make a D where the offensive player cannot put a label on it, you will be very effective. What I mean is when you see the Ss line up the way they do and recognize the D is Key Zone, you automatically know the entire play. By knowing what Key Zone looks like and being able to label it that way you instantly know what all 11 players on the field are doing once you recognize it. But when you make a defense that defies these labels, even if the player knows what a few people are doing, he has no one term to put on the play that will tell him about all of the assignmnts. It is a cognitive thing. That is what makes my defense tough (if you actually find it to be tough) and also Val's. I do know most of your pet defenses. In fact for the players I play a lot I know what you are doing about 75% of the time. Whether I can stop it or not is mostly a matter of me being able to mitigate my lack of video game skill deficiencies and also a struggle to get the AI to not do such stupid things when I call defensive plays.

I already said Boffa and Lanky were the best I had played. I would have to add s38s38s to that list as he gave me about as thorough an ***** whipping I have taken. Suffocating D and a run game that I could not stop at all. Most rushing yards I have ever given up. The motion hike on running plays is a little annoying but by no means was the reason he won. I just don't prefer to do that.

Really good player. I am obviously not ready to play the likes of these guys yet in the Legend Lobby. The Legend Lobby is a completely different game than All-Pro.

We all know "cheese" is just a term made up by average ballers, with good ranks by virtue of games played, to avoid having to play real talent. Instead you associate yourself with weak ballers with mediocre logic defying teams to gurantee yourself of two things: A win and a positive rating...Thats all it is...I can also play nice with a few people I know can beat and rack up a ton of positive ratings..When Ben Richardson calls you a top 5 players is like President Bush calling you intelligent - it holds no weight...Let 2k organize another tournament with neutral teams and see how far most of you get...

I prefer to play the better players in the lobby that play more realistic football. Amid, I don't take notes. I just remember. I remember some things better than others. Like I know you like to run a 5 yard Out with Coates from I Twins, and if I saw some of your other formations I could probably tell you plays you like to run from them. I just have a knack for rembering plays. It makes up for my inferior "stick skills".

Also I base my defense on situation, personnel, and formation, and tendency. Most people only use of at most 2 of those factors when choosing a defense. That is why things like TE for WR never bother me, even if it doesn't show up in the personnel screen.

How do you know I dont play real football? My 80% rating is very strong considering the fact that i havent changed my username or profile since I bought the game last year. Secondly, cheese is a subjective description of one's perception of how football games should be played online. I have never used created players online or resorted to annoying tactics like motioning wrs and not waiting for them to set before passing or even susing wrs as extra blockers in rushing plays...Never used illegal subs or blocked fgs...They are annoying but they have not caused me to lose a game yet.

I have never been a cheeser on this game. I am still learning a lot about football. S38S is my best friend in real life and he knows a lot about football so i picked up on a lot from him. I never cheesed and if i did it wasn't on purpose. Maybe we will play sometime soon if you can play fair.

I have played just about everyone in this thread except Don and Plague. BlackVivaldi isn't that bad of a player in fact I don't remember any cheese but than again most things people consider cheese I don't. I just like to figure out how to stop whatever my opponent is doing. I love playing Lanky just so I can have a great game and try and beat one of the best. I will get there :) Just played s38 the other night and I cant remember who won but I know it was a good game. Lets get back to what this post is really about and list your top players.

How do you know I dont play real football? My 80% rating is very strong considering the fact that i havent changed my username or profile since I bought the game last year. Secondly, cheese is a subjective description of one's perception of how football games should be played online. I have never used created players online or resorted to annoying tactics like motioning wrs and not waiting for them to set before passing or even susing wrs as extra blockers in rushing plays...Never used illegal subs or blocked fgs...They are annoying but they have not caused me to lose a game yet.
But you go for it on 4th down, in your own territory in the first half...
