I really have no idea what to expect out of this patch and future patches. Mostly in regards to franchise mode and the plethora of horrible problems it has that should easily be resolved through testing, should one expect these issues to be resolved through patches? These issues include, but are not limited to:

1. Incorrectly displaying stats (minor leagues and end of season stats/records)
2. Poor logic in salaries for signing players (example, after a bad week, a player goes from demanding 5 yr 100M to 4 yr, 10M)
3. Problems with lineups (facing the same SP all 3 games in a 3 game series)
4. Minor league call up and send down issues (auto-fix lineup problem)

I'm sure there are many more, but here are just a few. If I can't expect all these problems to be resolved shortly, I'm just going to sell on eBay and wait a year or two until I buy the next game, unless by then I have a PS3 and just go with The Show.

Maybe Mr. Answers ronnie.singh has an idea about this one...

The minor leagues issue is being looked at as to why that's happening. I should have something to report, by the latest, tomorrow.
It shouldn't be that extreme but we did put some morale in there. It's kinda like the code for Hot/Cold from last year is that it needs to be downplayed. I can put this on the list but there are bigger game play issues that would probably get precedence.
3&4 are ones the 2K offices are aware of and are working towards for an upcoming patch.

I hope this provides you some ideas of the problems facing you.

Regarding #3 can't you just review the pitching match-up when going through the game set-up and if you've already faced the pitcher the CPU has selected just change it? I experienced this once when I was playing a tournament, all I did was went over to the opposing teams screen changed the pitcher and then went back to my team. It's not something you should have to do, but it's not something that you can't control.

Will the post game show be watchable or is this something that is just gonna stay as is? It's a disaster with or without VIP on.

I just don't buy that this stuff is ever going to get fixed. MLB 2K series has had these types of problems for years now. It's just not acceptable. I'd much more understand the game not playing as smooth than glitches like this. These are things that should be noticed in the testing mode and then fixed before launch. These are major bugs, and they're not acceptable, and unfortunately, they won't be fixed.

I'll come back to 2K in a few years if they're still around to see if they've fixed up these problems...
