Is speed burner accurate for Roy Williams? Cause he ran a 4.35 40yd dash at the combine, and ran a 10.5 100m in high school.

I don't care about what the combine said, but he wouldn't be classified as a spped burner to me. I have seen him in person for his whole career 8 games a year and he isn't one of the fastest reciever in the league which I consider before giving someone speed burner.

This is what I gave him in my league
Acrobatic catches
Strength
Branching Tackles (He dosent go down easy at all)
Tough in the Middle
Quick Feet

I have that, but he doesn't get off of blocks very well, and he gets swallowed up by linemen sometimes. He does make plays from sideline to sideline like in real life though. He doesn't really get swallowed up that often in real life though. Should I recreate him? Or any tips?

Hes more of a break away burst guy.

I say he MUST have Big Hit and Speed Burner. In real life he does get swallowed up by lineman because he is a speed guy not a strength guy. I have seen him lay out too many people though for him not to have Big Hit.

Some of the peopl are gone since I created my team and they no longer are going to be the pass happy offense, but here are the players still there.
Gold- Roy & Sims
Silver-CJ-(speed burner, soft hands) Kitna (Leadership, Durability) Shaun Rogers (gone) I would say Leigh Bodden as the other (Pass Coverage,Wrap Tackle

Bronze - Jason Hanson (Kick Accuracy), Miike Furrey (Tough in Middle), Shaun McDonald (Quick Feet), Dewayne White (pass rush), Cory Redding(leadership), I had Jones but Tatum Bell would be speed burner.


Some other suggestions would be Gerald Alexander (Big Hit, or Wrap Tackle), Brian Kelly (Pass Coverage) Jeff Backus (Durability), Dominic Raiola (Leadership or Cheap Shot and runnig your mouth if they were in the game lol) Keith Smith (Ball Hawk) Paris Lenon (quick Feet).

If you want to be real true to life though you should make Hanson a Silver and give him Accurracy and Clutch. He has been there most consistant player the last 10+ years.

He would get 10+ tackles a game on aregular basis for me and he didnt have any run or pass coverage boost. Maybe try run reader.

Thanks for the help BrandH. I'm from Detroit too, but I've never been a fan of any Detroit sports teams. I'm starting to kinda like the Lions though, and I have an Ernie Sims jersey.



I had Kitna at bronze with just Leadership, and his arm was sooooo bad. So I guess I'll upgrade him to silver.
