Substitutions:

QB's

You cannot play anybody at another position other than listed no matter where they played in there careers. There is already too much mismatches in this game. Don't ask to play a LB at O-line or anything like that either, Your plea won't be heard.

Gameplay

You can not go for it on 4th down except under the following scenarios.

Down by 3 TD's or more you can go for it on 4th down.

Between your opponents 30 & 40 yard line no matter what the score is or how many yards to gain there is, In the NFL this is what is called the gray area depending on your kicker's abilities, Too long for a FG and too short for a punt so in this scenario it is legal. I have watched many NFL games and watched my own team the Seahawks go for it on 4th & 7 winning by 21 points.

Under 2 minutes left in the game and down by more than 3 points you can go for it at anytime.

Do I do this? No, but it is what happens in the real NFL.

You can never use cadence in this league at all! There is no counter to this so it wont be allowed. If you choose Elway you wont be able to use that BS!

You cannot move your D-line away from the Line of Scrimmage, If you control your D-line you still cannot go out in coverage until the ball is snapped. You can use a D-line guy all game long as long as you are not using all those line stunts to come untouched every single time.

Against bump-n-run Coverage you can move your WR in motion like they do in the real NFL to get off the bump. You have to wait for your WR to come to a stop but you do not have to wait for the defender to come to a stop. This only comes into play against bump-n-run Coverage,

You can move anybody in motion and not have them come to a stop in run plays.

You can only do no huddle in each 2 minute warning of each half. If you are down 21 starting the 2nd half you can no huddle until you get within a TD, than you have to stop again until the 2 minute warning.

You can Run & Pass as much as you want. You don't have to be balanced at all. It is your team and you coach how you see fit in this area.

You can play Man or Zone defense all you want. There ways to beat every defense.

Try and mix up your play calling on Offense. If your a 1-3 play wonder this league isn't for you.

You can hot route all you want whenever you want. If someone is going to play zone all game I don't care if you hot route a fade to beat it since that is a weak area in a zone coverage. There are many Zone's that would stop the hot route fade so don't cry if someone does this to you. I won't tell anyone they have to throw into the middle of your zone defense.

You can run any route's you want at WR. If you want to throw 50 outs during your game than do so. Its upto the defense to adjust. there is a defense to stop everything in this game. Its all about playcalling.

Flats & Screens are allowed as much as you want. Like I said before it's upto you to call your defense and adjust.

You can have as many stars as you want on your special teams.

You cannot even attempt to block a FG or XPT at all. If your defense does it by it self than thats ok. You cannot switch to the defender to block the kick at all.

You cannot come to the line of scrimmage with anyone to blitz if your right between O-Line. You can manually blitz but you can not move that Defender to the line at all, You must blitz from where the defender is when the play is called.

You can use 5-2 blitz as much as you want because there is a counter to this even when people say there isn't. beat that defense over and over and they will stop.

You can put whoever you want to return punt's or kick's. It has been my experience that if your return guy doesn't have the return attribute they are not that effective.

You can run your QB as much as you want. The defense can spy the QB by hitting button "A" to spy the QB in your assignment adjustment's. If you assign the DE on a QB spy that QB will be hurting.

You can draft anyone you want. There is no limits to how many WR's or whatever you want. There is plenty of players to choose from.

If your pause timer runs out after the first 3-5 minutes your opponent can quit and take the win, If your not ready to play then don't start a game. Your opponent can if he wishes to continue instead of quit but is up to your opponent.

There will be a 3 strikes rule for penalizing a owner for a rule violation.

There are no 3 strikes when it comes to racism, or vulgar language. If proven to be guilty of this violation you will be kicked without question from this league.

You can not switch defenders in a flickering motion to cause AI blocking to do stupid ****. What I mean by this is... You can switch to the defender closest to the ball but you can not hit your B button to switch and do it like 50 times during one play. Need more info on this ask me about it.

It is the right of the league admin to change, add, or delete any rules at anytime. I will not penalize a owner if a league rule was added or removed if you have not been notified. I will post on site of any league rule changes.

I would but whats up with sliders?

The sliders are set in stone but the kicking will be set to legend setting, I just forgot to change that. As I posted that this is a slider league and if you want in this slider league let me know. If you don't like or want to play with those slider settings than this league is not for you. The sliders are not up for discussion. I have 2 leagues that I run and this is with custom sliders and the other is set on legend for those who don't want the custom sliders.

How come Human Kicking is so low?

The kicking will be set at legend settings, I forgot to change those settings on my post. Just to let you know though that no matter if the kicking slider was set to 100 or Zero it would not change how far or short your kicker kicks the ball. I thought it would make a change in it but it didn't do anything at all and I have experimented with this a lot. The only thing it seemed to effect ws the return game.

There is a draft where players select team rosters (legends and caps). Once the season is over players have the ability to select a player who they would like to keep for the upcoming season (they will draft for the rest of the team). There are never duplicate Caps or Legends on any teams.

This is a draft league. There will be a draft order and when it is your turn you will be able to draft who you want like the real NFL Draft. There will be 11 rounds of the draft with the 1st & 2nd round set up for 30 minutes to make a draft choice when its your turn. Rounds 3-11 will be only 15 minutes per draft pick. If you don't make your pick in the alotted time you will be skipped but you can make your draft pick when you are available but if someone after your pick selected someone you wanted because your time ran out than you can not pick that player. There are plenty of players to choose from for my draft leagues but most are created legends that have the attributes already listed with them if you want to draft them. If you draft a Created player than you must make that player exactly to what is listed for his height, weight, college and attributes that are listed with him. My league usually run about 1 month in total. Everyone is pretty active and get a lot of games in a week. I expect 4 games a week to be played and if that is achieved than the regular season will be only 1 month.

freakofsatan is the only person I have had trouble playing, I dont know why he is crying and making false claims. I never gave up on the lg, I have never been associated with such a cry baby. I have played my games, but the only time he can play is late late at night. And sometimes im unavailable at that time. Maybe if he responded like an adult and set up a tee time we can get our game in. Im the only one that has tried to do that b/w the both of us.

Im just getting tired of this kid posting everywhere I go and making bs stgatements about me. I PLAY MY GAMES WIN OR LOSE. I chose to use an all generic offensive because I like challenges and was trying something new.

you can choose to have a team made any way you want. for example...I had 3 WR and a TE in season 1.......there are no duplicates allowed......if you cant live without a player then take him ASAP...



Those who update the board (Me, S0CK, HITMAN, and THE COMMISION) will update the players taken list after every round to avoid confusion....there will be no skipping of draft picks...so DO NOT ask to make a pick if it is not your turn......if you are not available to make your pick then PM either me, S0CK, or HITMAN and we will make your picks for you

You cannot play anybody at another position other than listed no matter where they played in there careers. There is already too much mismatches in this game. Don't ask to play a LB at O-line or anything like that either, Your plea won't be heard.

Gameplay

You can not go for it on 4th down except under the following scenarios.

Down by 3 TD's or more you can go for it on 4th down.

Between your opponents 30 & 40 yard line no matter what the score is or how many yards to gain there is, In the NFL this is what is called the gray area depending on your kicker's abilities, Too long for a FG and too short for a punt so in this scenario it is legal. I have watched many NFL games and watched my own team the Seahawks go for it on 4th & 7 winning by 21 points.

Under 2 minutes left in the game and down by more than 3 points you can go for it at anytime.

Do I do this? No, but it is what happens in the real NFL.

You can never use cadence in this league at all! There is no counter to this so it wont be allowed. If you choose Elway you wont be able to use that BS!

You cannot move your D-line away from the Line of Scrimmage, If you control your D-line you still cannot go out in coverage until the ball is snapped. You can use a D-line guy all game long as long as you are not using all those line stunts to come untouched every single time.

Against bump-n-run Coverage you can move your WR in motion like they do in the real NFL to get off the bump. You have to wait for your WR to come to a stop but you do not have to wait for the defender to come to a stop. This only comes into play against bump-n-run Coverage,

You can move anybody in motion and not have them come to a stop in run plays.

You can only do no huddle in each 2 minute warning of each half. If you are down 21 starting the 2nd half you can no huddle until you get within a TD, than you have to stop again until the 2 minute warning.

You can Run & Pass as much as you want. You don't have to be balanced at all. It is your team and you coach how you see fit in this area.

You can play Man or Zone defense all you want. There ways to beat every defense.

Try and mix up your play calling on Offense. If your a 1-3 play wonder this league isn't for you.

You can hot route all you want whenever you want. If someone is going to play zone all game I don't care if you hot route a fade to beat it since that is a weak area in a zone coverage. There are many Zone's that would stop the hot route fade so don't cry if someone does this to you. I won't tell anyone they have to throw into the middle of your zone defense.

You can run any route's you want at WR. If you want to throw 50 outs during your game than do so. Its upto the defense to adjust. there is a defense to stop everything in this game. Its all about playcalling.

Flats & Screens are allowed as much as you want. Like I said before it's upto you to call your defense and adjust.

You can have as many stars as you want on your special teams.

You cannot even attempt to block a FG or XPT at all. If your defense does it by it self than thats ok. You cannot switch to the defender to block the kick at all.

You cannot come to the line of scrimmage with anyone to blitz if your right between O-Line. You can manually blitz but you can not move that Defender to the line at all, You must blitz from where the defender is when the play is called.

You can use 5-2 blitz as much as you want because there is a counter to this even when people say there isn't. beat that defense over and over and they will stop.

You can put whoever you want to return punt's or kick's. It has been my experience that if your return guy doesn't have the return attribute they are not that effective.

You can run your QB as much as you want. The defense can spy the QB by hitting button "A" to spy the QB in your assignment adjustment's. If you assign the DE on a QB spy that QB will be hurting.

You can draft anyone you want. There is no limits to how many WR's or whatever you want. There is plenty of players to choose from.

If your pause timer runs out after the first 3-5 minutes your opponent can quit and take the win, If your not ready to play then don't start a game. Your opponent can if he wishes to continue instead of quit but is up to your opponent.

You can not quit a League game at all for any reason.

There will be a 3 strikes rule for penalizing a owner for a rule violation.

There are no 3 strikes when it comes to racism, or vulgar language. If proven to be guilty of this violation you will be kicked without question from this league.

You can not switch defenders in a flickering motion to cause AI blocking to do stupid ****. What I mean by this is... You can switch to the defender closest to the ball but you can not hit your B button to switch and do it like 50 times during one play. Need more info on this ask me about it.

It is the right of the league admin to change, add, or delete any rules at anytime. I will not penalize a owner if a league rule was added or removed if you have not been notified. I will post on site of any league rule changes.

NFL Champions will be kicking off season 2 on Saturday the 29th at 5pm pst. Saturday we will be having a draft on this same forum for NFL Champions. If you would like to join than please leave me your exact Gamertag on XBOX LIVE and your feedback on APF 2K8. If I know you or you are on my friends list than you do not need to post your feedback just state that you would like to join. The returning members from season 1 all had the option of franchising 1 of the players on there team so if you see a player listed next to a gamertag that player is off limits to everyone else and can only be on that gamertags team for season 2. This league is a custom slider league with all defensive sliders turned up to 100 with all offensive sliders turned down to ZERO. This allows the defense in this game to react better than they normally do but the right play calling can still move the ball and get you points. Listed below will be members from season 2 returning so far along with league rules and how the sliders will be set.

LEAGUE RULES

Substitutions:

LB's Interchangeable, You can play a LB at DE
CB's & Safeties Interchangeable
D-Line Interchangeable

WR's are not Interchangeable, Cannot play at TE or RB. they can only play WR
TE's can play at WR and FB spots They cannot play at RB
O-line Interchangeable
RB's & FB's Interchangeable, RB's & FB's can flank out as a WR
QB's

You cannot play anybody at another position other than listed no matter where they played in there careers. There is already too much mismatches in this game. Don't ask to play a LB at O-line or anything like that either, Your plea won't be heard.

Gameplay

You can not go for it on 4th down except under the following scenarios.

Down by 3 TD's or more you can go for it on 4th down.

Between your opponents 30 & 40 yard line no matter what the score is or how many yards to gain there is, In the NFL this is what is called the gray area depending on your kicker's abilities, Too long for a FG and too short for a punt so in this scenario it is legal. I have watched many NFL games and watched my own team the Seahawks go for it on 4th & 7 winning by 21 points.

Under 2 minutes left in the game and down by more than 3 points you can go for it at anytime.

Do I do this? No, but it is what happens in the real NFL.

You can never use cadence in this league at all! There is no counter to this so it wont be allowed. If you choose Elway you wont be able to use that BS!

You cannot move your D-line away from the Line of Scrimmage, If you control your D-line you still cannot go out in coverage until the ball is snapped. You can use a D-line guy all game long as long as you are not using all those line stunts to come untouched every single time.

Against bump-n-run Coverage you can move your WR in motion like they do in the real NFL to get off the bump. You have to wait for your WR to come to a stop but you do not have to wait for the defender to come to a stop. This only comes into play against bump-n-run Coverage,

You can move anybody in motion and not have them come to a stop in run plays.

You can only do no huddle in each 2 minute warning of each half. If you are down 21 starting the 2nd half you can no huddle until you get within a TD, than you have to stop again until the 2 minute warning.

You can Run & Pass as much as you want. You don't have to be balanced at all. It is your team and you coach how you see fit in this area.

You can play Man or Zone defense all you want. There ways to beat every defense.

Try and mix up your play calling on Offense. If your a 1-3 play wonder this league isn't for you.

You can hot route all you want whenever you want. If someone is going to play zone all game I don't care if you hot route a fade to beat it since that is a weak area in a zone coverage. There are many Zone's that would stop the hot route fade so don't cry if someone does this to you. I won't tell anyone they have to throw into the middle of your zone defense.

You can run any route's you want at WR. If you want to throw 50 outs during your game than do so. Its upto the defense to adjust. there is a defense to stop everything in this game. Its all about playcalling.

Flats & Screens are allowed as much as you want. Like I said before it's upto you to call your defense and adjust.

You can have as many stars as you want on your special teams.

You cannot even attempt to block a FG or XPT at all. If your defense does it by it self than thats ok. You cannot switch to the defender to block the kick at all.

You cannot come to the line of scrimmage with anyone to blitz if your right between O-Line. You can manually blitz but you can not move that Defender to the line at all, You must blitz from where the defender is when the play is called.

You can use 5-2 blitz as much as you want because there is a counter to this even when people say there isn't. beat that defense over and over and they will stop.

You can put whoever you want to return punt's or kick's. It has been my experience that if your return guy doesn't have the return attribute they are not that effective.

You can run your QB as much as you want. The defense can spy the QB by hitting button "A" to spy the QB in your assignment adjustment's. If you assign the DE on a QB spy that QB will be hurting.

You can draft anyone you want. There is no limits to how many WR's or whatever you want. There is plenty of players to choose from.

If your pause timer runs out after the first 3-5 minutes your opponent can quit and take the win, If your not ready to play then don't start a game. Your opponent can if he wishes to continue instead of quit but is up to your opponent.

You can not quit a League game at all for any reason.

There will be a 3 strikes rule for penalizing a owner for a rule violation.

There are no 3 strikes when it comes to racism, or vulgar language. If proven to be guilty of this violation you will be kicked without question from this league.

You can not switch defenders in a flickering motion to cause AI blocking to do stupid ****. What I mean by this is... You can switch to the defender closest to the ball but you can not hit your B button to switch and do it like 50 times during one play. Need more info on this ask me about it.

It is the right of the league admin to change, add, or delete any rules at anytime. I will not penalize a owner if a league rule was added or removed if you have not been notified. I will post on site of any league rule changes.

Funny thing is that I had an opportunity to get 3 games in against Commish two nights ago and I think he may have been sleeping with his XBOX on while sitting in the league lobby. :)

I can get in the draft if I pick late however as my pick probably wont come up until monday anyway.

That is fine but this is the last time you can change so you are now stuck with Bosworth as your Franchised player.

You could always send me a list of players you would like to pick. It is up to you but if you want to make your own picks than you can still when you can. You don't have to make your pick when you are OTC if you don;t want to. You can make it whenever you can. Let me know soon.

You can always just send HITMAN a list of a few players who you want so you dont have to be worried about the draft......they may get into round 3 Monday morning

The draft will take anywhere from 5-6 days maybe 7 depending on how long it takes for people to make picks....there is no way the draft will be done before Monday unless everyone agrees to constantly check the site Saturday/Sunday or everyone goes into a chat room and makes their picks their

And most of us have been through at least 2-3 of these drafts too, which I think helps a lot. The DL3 draft was probably one of the fastest, and it had the most people. I'm sure this one will go just as smoothly if everyone stays on top of it.

It will take some time to get the draft done. I have shortened the time people have to draft to speed it up. If you can't leave a list you can always pick when you get online to make your pick. There are plenty of players to choose from. If you think it will hamper your ability to make the team how you want and you can't do the other options I listed than maybe you might want to reconsider joining this league.

Franchise is there last selection. Franchise pick is only for returning players from season 1. If your not from season 1 then you don't get an option to franchise anyone. After this season you will be able to franchise a player from the team you draft for season 3.
