I've gotten a no-hitter twice
first one
Pro. No Sliders. 2/29/98 Roster. Exhibition.
KC@NYM Santana threw No-Hitter, no achievement
2nd
Pro. No Sliders. 2/29 Roster. Franchise.
BOS@OAK Dice-K Threw No-Hitter, and Again No ACHIEVEMENT.
Is this a problem with 2k or my game or consle?

I got mine the one time I got a no hitter.
I play on the 360.

Are you signed in to your profile? If you signed out of your profile to help improve the frame rate, then you won't get any accomplishments.

I was signed in the whole time. I've never signed out to improve frame rate issues.

just another way this game bends you over and bones you till you can't take it any more. you can't play a decent game without adjusting the sliders. BUT if you adjust the sliders, or change anything for that matter, you don't get rewards (cards, etc.)
sorry, not to digress from your issue...by unlocking do you mean player cards? or the xbox achievement points? if it's cards, they are player specific...like a santana card is achieved after 12 strikeouts, not a no-hitter (although the dice k should have been awarded...)
...wow, this game has more holes than a slice of swiss cheese...
gotta love what exclusive rights to a license do to the quality of games...
