I just lost my freaking world series b/c I could not rob a nick johnson homerun!!!!

Last year was simple.....you just clicked the right thumb stick up.....

So how do we do it in this game? I have been trying to hit the R trigger.....doesnt work....and the manual doesnt reference this.

This year is even more simple. You must get into position and the game will do it for you. Hitting the "R" trigger just puts a face in the wall. Run toward the position you need, and the CPU will climb/jump accordingly.

Does this also work for the Wii? I keep diving head first into the wall. Thanks.

I can't do it. My OF always ends up watching. There should be a button or trigger to do this.

Interesting, I just won a game because Chris Duncan went to rob a homer, knocked it back into play and resulted in a double instead of a homer.

I thought that was pretty darn cool.

Over 80+ games so far and have yet to rob a HR yet this year.

Seems like every time the ball is right at the edge of the wall where I could have a chance to make the catch, my OFs are still running from where IE had them positioned -- can never get there in time. I have made several catches against the wall when the player executed the jump catch, but none that have brought balls back into the yard.

I spent the first two weeks I had the game doing face-plants into the warning track trying to make the spectacular catch...

I've managed to do this twice after MANY games played. I even got a wild card for it once.

Two other times, it's bounced off my glove, one over the wall and one back in play.
