Alot of negitive posts out there. Thought i would mention this.

2k did an awsome job of this, best offline franchise drafting/development feature i have seen in a sports game in a long time, if not the best.

All throughout the first 2 rounds there is good potential (got an 85 potential guy in the second round - had to pay him more than i wanted but got him)

Very relistic with the salary's and with the time it takes to develop. It tells you weather its gonna take 3-4 months for him to be ready all the way up to 7 years to hit his potential. Awsome!!

Havn Farm teams with actuall players you want to see develop is just so cool. Plus the Top 100 prospects feature !!!! Its constintly changing depending on how good your players are playing , their minor league stats, ect. First year they may not be on the list next year they start moving up.

I recomment a 162 gm season though so that the rookies status gets taken off.

Very very adictictive. I recomend it for those crying about online play.

My first pick in the 2009 draft, Tony Bell OF. Turned into a 100 in a couple years and averages 40+ HRs and a .315 avg.

Where did you see the part where it tells you how long a player takes to develop? I just finished my draft and didn't see that part. I actually don't even see where you see the potential. Is it by looking at the player's card/profile? All I look at is the pitchers grades for each pitch. Also....how do they determine draft order? I am using the Cubs and got eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. And yet, I got to pick 6th overall in the draft. How does that work?
