ya this is one thing that really bugs me because no team ever has a zero percent chance of winning... there is always a small chance... i really want to know how they calculate this win percentage... plus whenever the key play is a homerun they always say its an inside the park homerun.

Maybe your win % is 99.5 but the game just rounds that up.

Heck, i've had games that were tied and the winning probability was 75% to 25%

That's not a problem. One team could have had many more hits or opps to score.

no. The home team always has the larger win percentage when the game is tied simply because they will be getting more at bats. In my opinion win probability is something that needs to be done with, it's stupid. No baseball presentation has ever used a statistical display to show what team has a better % chance at winning a game. It's just something you'll never see while ever watching a game on ESPN or FOX. Just give us key plays and highlights, not win probability.
