Disc Unreadable?

Is anyone else having an issue following a put out where the screen just sits on the fielders and never returns to the game? After a few minutes I get the disc unreadable error. This happens during one out of every three games I play. I've only played the game in franchise mode, so I don't know if this happens in other games.

Maybe the disc is scratched/dirty/damaged in a certain place, you might want to look at going to EB games or whatever and try to get the disc repaired. Or you can buy a "disc repairer".

Thx for the suggestion, but the disc is brand new without a scratch. This doesn't happen with any other game. I've tried both the vertical and horizontal setting for my console as well.

when i played the game i got it alot. I was told that you can help by opening the drive before playing, it does something to help with the errors.

But same thing happened last year, another thing they didn't care to fix.

this happens to me a lot, and the same thing happened with college hoops. the disc is fine but after a while it gets scratches arround the edges.

I doubt it is the disc. This happens to me all the time in all of my sports games (even brand new right out of the box) but it doesn't do it in Halo3. It is probably a disc drive problem on your console.
