player editing?

I was wondering if there was somekinda player editing. Because i did some call ups and send downs and I have two number 1s on my team. Why would it even let it use the same number let alone retired numbers?
Anyway, is there a way to fix this through an edit?

I think you go to rosters on either GM, or Manage mode and hit "A" on the guy you want to edit.

TMONEY is right... go to manager/ roster/ press a and then edit player. you have to use this with rookies or it looks like a bunch of non-athletes playing ball with no wrist bands and generic batting stances.

Ahh thanks...I have this for the PS3, and dont have an A button but ill figger it out!!:cool:
