Network error

I know this has been posted about and never got an answer as to exactly why it was happening. Now that the forum is changed around I don't know where the thread went. Anyway....anyone that is playing online, are you ever getting a sudden network error after a couple innings and getting dropped from the game?

If you have a solution to this problem please let me know. I've made sure ports are opened up and that was the only suggestion I was given.

I really would like someone to let me know what they did to fix this or at least have an explanation as to why I cannot play my friend that lives 1,000 miles away in this game when we have zero problems playing other games on Xbox Live. Right now I'm not terribly concerned but I don't want this to keep happening after the patch comes out and the online is playable.
